I've covered pretty much everything there is with accounting throughout my various courses. I cover accounts receivable in 599cd.com/ACX27. I cover accounts payable in 599cd.com/Payables. I've got the Check Register Seminar and Template shown here. About the only thing I haven't built is a General Ledger, and that's just a matter of tying everything else together. :)

Great class. I’m copying my real data from excel but the amount column won’t display anything for those rows. Anyone else have this happen?

If you're going to copy and paste, your fields have to match up exactly with your Excel columns, and I recommend pasting directly into the table, not the form.

It seems that Shane wanted to track expenses. In order to do this it would seem that it would be best done in a detail table with a lookup table that would consistent and have meaning Just using a check register with just a description and without a detail that would allow entering multiple lines entered Also many times the detail on an invoice that the user is paying for are different types of purchases such as assets and or expenses. There needs to be a way to separate the line items. Your tech video is a good start but the template needs to be expanded to allow for the above mentioned hurtles.

Of course. This assumes each check represents a single category. You may have a check that covers multiple categories. Like you said, it's a simple start and can definitely be expanded.

Hi Richard I have just watched bank system, could you please help me I have several personal pensions paid not my account and several company monthly payments paid into my account I would like to be able to input into access database with monthly reports and end of year reports is this possible I am stuck with could you please build on from scratch for me if possible I now you have a lot to do I would be very great full if you could help.
