Personally I really like edge but wish it wasn't so bloated with features I will never use, I wish it felt like a neutral browser because every time I use it it reminds me that I am using a Microsoft product rather than just another browser. I personally like chrome and Firefox more for that reason because it feels and looks simpler, but anyway that's just my opinion

Thank you for your testing! This is really helpful! I really didn't like the UI/UX of Chrome and found Edgs's UI/UX very pleasant for me. I do find Edge can be a bit slower sometimes. But it's tolerable for me given its far better UI/UX experience compared to Chrome. Bing's search was incomparable to Google, but now with OpenAI, I am planning to fully transfer to Edge. Update after two days of Edge: Changed back to Chrome because Edge crashed and it was less reactive than Chrome. My PC is low-end. So, I guess I need a better PC for Edge. Have to go back to Chrome for the speed.

i use edge for lots of productivity tools built in it, immersive reader, side panel, new bing chat, webselect, webcapture, markup tool, bookmark show only icon, vertical tabs, pin tabs, collections, edge and bing homepage, soothing themes,....etc...... i dont know how many are there in chrome, but i wanted some of them while using chrome and chrome took so much ram, so i shifted to edge, it is using comparingly less ram and providing all these features.

Brave doesn't matter as it's a Chrome based browser also. Opera and Firefox got their own engine. Edge is important because it is Microsoft's browser, the main one. Doing Chromium instead is better. Otherwise there is also Vivaldi.

Pretty much neck and neck. Really is no point in downloading a 3rd party browser for the average user just to shave a few tenths of a second in loading time. Edge has some neat features such as vertical tabs, webshot & pdf rich tools, mainly the annotation feature. Great video, straight to the point.

Yeah, you have to wait 4 more seconds to open a site!!! Also, you can't directly highlight the address bar hitting F6 unlike Chrome, instead you have to hit twice which annoys me a lot! I've already gave them a feedback about it when it was on beta(dunno if it's still in beta or not I mean when it started to be a thing even before it got an icon change) and still no change... The f even is the point of choosing the tab right after opening it? Its use is to directly go to address bar without need to click on it. I'm lazy and I don't wanna click on the stupid address bar any time I open the browser. And also, Chrome got the most smooth scrolling experience, unlike what Firefox and Edge got, even Opera. It doesn't feel clunky or slower, it is so responsive with all mouse scroll wheel, Page Up, Page Down, Home and End! So it doesn't matter how "neat" features do they have and how many of them. They don't listen to the end-user feedback!!! Not gonna use it ever!!! Also, each time I login an account on Chrome or Edge both of them automatically logout the one the last time I did and login the one I did on the other one. I mean if I login an account in Edge and then Chrome after closing and reopening the browser in Chrome I see the account I've used on Edge in Chrome. Same thing happen if I do that first Chrome too, the last browser I use forces other browser to login the same account, which I used first doesn't matter. And Microsoft doesn't even help this!!! It is annoying! I use multiple accounts on some sites and I can only fix this if I logout from the browser on the account that I don't want to be logged in and sometimes it fixes it sometimes requires 1 more try. And it is pretty much annoying that you have to do that again after clearing the cache! And some time later it happens again!!! I have synced Chrome with Edge before to have same bookmarks, didn't know it may also sync the accounts logged in on both!!! And can't find an option to desync them!!! Also, just remembered, when you alt tab you switch between the Microsoft Edge tabs and other programs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You can't directly switch to a program which makes me wanna punch myself!

Loading dynamic websites can be a bit tricky when doing benchmarks. Cause the same data might not be loaded for both browsers even though it is the same website since the content is generated using analytics data for each browser and depending on what you have done in the past on one browser versus the other, it can skew the results. Something as simple as being logged in on one but not on the other can cause more data to be downloaded on the same browser.

Thank you so much for taking the time to compile all the valuable information for us. I sincerely appreciate your efforts and would like to extend my deepest gratitude to you. I also wanted to touch upon the topic of RAM usage in web browsers. Firstly, it's important to note that these days, RAM is rarely a concern for most users, as a majority of us have 16GB or more, and modern RAM technology is capable of efficiently handling heavy workloads. Don't you agree? Secondly, I've personally noticed a reduction in RAM usage after the latest update of Chrome on my M1 Mac. Additionally, I've found that Chrome performs a bit faster overall, and in my experience, it operates more smoothly compared to Edge. It's worth mentioning that I have been using Microsoft Edge for a solid two years now, following many years of using Firefox. While I still hold a fondness for Firefox, I couldn't help but notice a decline in its performance. Although I haven't come across anything quite like the unique Multi-Account Containers extension that Firefox offers, it's worth noting that both Chrome and Edge allow you to have multiple profiles, which is a feature Firefox lacks. I completely understand the dilemma between Edge and Chrome. It's true that both Microsoft and Google gather user data, placing us, the users, in the middle. Unfortunately, there isn't much we can do about this reality. Nevertheless, it's important to acknowledge that these two browsers are considered the top contenders in the market. Despite the data collection aspect, they offer a wide range of features and capabilities that make them stand out from other alternatives. So, while it's crucial to be mindful of our privacy, we can't deny that Edge and Chrome currently hold the top positions in the browser landscape. I completely relate to your experience of being captivated by the performance of Edge, which has made it difficult to switch back to Firefox. Currently, I've been exploring Chrome since the start of 2023, and I must say, it has pleasantly surprised me. Chrome has emerged as a dark horse, showcasing outstanding performance that draws you in. Its capabilities are truly commendable. Once again, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to you for creating this excellent video. It has provided valuable insights and information that have further enhanced our understanding of the ongoing browser competition. Thank you for your dedication and for sharing this content with us.
