I'm now stuck before the commercial license, game won't load the exam. This game is litterally unplayable for many of us, and this review barely mention it

After a couple weeks of playtime & even ignoring the disastrous launch issues (which still aren't fully sorted), this definitely isn't a 9/10. Most of the new features are half baked, there's a long list of promised pre-launch features missing & it's bugged galore, especially in career mode. Maybe a 9/10 in 6-12 months if they sort these issues but currently I'd give it a generous 7/10.

@@aussiecoffeebean to be honest. I’ve actually had less issues with 2024 than 2020. 2020 would crash like every few boot ups, but 2024, now, is basically never crashing or lagging, which is so much better than how it was before, and how 2020 was for me.

Reviewed by a 3 year old. This score is egregious at best. It's not a 9/10 right now, the previous game IS, but this new one has way too many kinks and drawbacks to be scored in that realm yet.

Did this guy play the game, or watch other videos for feature lists? It literally crashes in menus. It crashes at startup. It freezes in free flight. Textures don’t load in. It stutters worse than a kid in speech therapy. The frame rate tanks for no reason. This isn’t a list of problems, it’s everything that happened in my play session 20 minutes ago. Not to mention there’s no marketplace and flying the big planes on series X causes, you guessed it, game freezes. This game was not ready for alpha, let alone full release. If this game’s a 9, I’m a 10.

Sounds like your internet connection isn't up to snuff, or maybe your hardware. You need a steady 250mbps connection, 64gb ram, and ideally at least a gtx 3070. Career mode is still riddled with bugs, and commercial jets have issues. But activities, challenges, world photographer mode, and most of free flight should work fine. The sim definitely needs a lot of work. But there's still a lot that works and is enjoyable.

I really didn't expect to enjoy playing as much as I do. All I play is career mode. But problem is it's extremely buggy still. I haven't been able to complete a flight since I started my company. It also forced me to crash and caused me to lose my only plane. Fun when it works. But too inconsistent in career mode at the moment.

For me as a newbie in Flight Simulator - i think this game is awesome! Just flew over my home city vienna and am stunned about the massivenes this game has to offer... sure - there are few things that made me giggle, like ships floating in the air or being somewhere in the middle of the river standing vertically... lol.. but i still enjoy it and am amazed about being able to fly around the whole god damn world! 🤩

It doesnt run well on xbox. Someone should do performance review of the game for xbox also. MSFS2020 ran without much issue on my series x but 24 runs very poor especially with bigger airliners it is very choppy. Unplayable at times

What a joke this review is. Flight Simulator 2024 is buggy as hell and nearly no fun to play. At least Gamestar (and many others) is honest...75% is more than this game deserve. Just like IGNs "opinion" "Forza Motorsport looks better than GT7" (if you like cars with edges perhaps and know nothing about graphics). IGN is REALLY nice to MICROSOFT. 🙈

HAH! This review is so biased, it's comical. No mentions of the long, long list of game-breaking bugs, CTDs, features that don't work (like the auto pilot) and many missing features (Marketplace, Bush Trips, and AI CoPilot). Many of the sim's objectives don't trigger even when you accomplish the goal (World Photographer Mode). At best, this garbage deserves a 3 out of 10. This same reviewer gave MSFS2020 a 10 out of 10 - although it was innovative, it was also not without its bugs and flaws as well. I would give it a 7 or 8 out of 10, at best. Clearly, either the reviewer hasn't tried using many of the game's basic features, or is simply a Microsoft / Asobo boot licker. One of the worst and least honest reviews I've ever seen come out of IGN.

I feel this review is biased... not only the reviewer (Seth) is known to be a pilot (don't get me wrong, nothing bad about that, but I found many roadblocks/bugs while trying it) and he is known to be a fan boy of 2020 FS. (10/10 review, which is NOT) Also, I don't believe they have been using a set-up that the average gamer would have at their disposal. From internet speed to not using a console (Xbox Series)/mid-range PC as their review unit. Believe me when I say this because I was really looking forward to this game, and it's a technical mess that doesn't hold up to a "9".

idk how you give this game a 9/10 ign. It's not even feature complete. the features that are there don't work properly. example: do a heavy cargo mission. oh wait, you can't. there are none. they didn't bother to put those in, despite having an entire specialization for it. Live traffic doesn't work, career is like 80% broke, avionics are spotty at best, even the *names of the planes themselves* aren't finished, with planes named "AIRCRAFT MANUFACTURER NAME" in the plane select menu.. just.. jeez. And that's when it's not CTDing on you. I get rating it a 9 based on potential and hopes for bug fixes, but since when are reviews based on future promises? Reviewing this game at launch, or shortly after, it's like a 1? At best?
