Microsoft Open Sourcing JavaScript Engine!

I created this video with the KZbin Video Editor ( / editor ) Yes I really did I wish I was joking but for some reason I couldn't get Premiere or Kdenlive to edit this video without lag so I apologize for the nasty jump cuts.
In this video I talk about Microsoft open sourcing Chakra the Javascript Engine inside the Microsoft Edge browser. Microsoft is still pushing hard into the Open Source world of both Linux and bringing their software out there as well. I hope you enjoy this video!

+336 Sec Completely agree... There is something strange about all this. Surely they would say ' Hey this was created with our Tech, now it can only be used with our tech..." Just saying, I could be wrong though

+Kirk Hammett Yes really will eventually. Since I have a lot of things going on with school I haven't been able to give the necessary time to Gentoo. I really want to master the distro before trying to teach it to others.

Microsoft is in the data collection business now, think Google only more evil. This means nothing to me a few dev's I talked to about this because if MS makes any roads into linux it will only be to collect and sell user data. As far as the internet of things, sorry I am not that lazy nothing in my house or my car will ever be on the internet that is just a disaster waiting to happen look at what happened with the glitch on Nest. I don't need to access anything from my phone except make call's and once and a while look up something in maps short of that it stays in my pocket turned off I mean really we need our refrigerators connected to our phones? sigh.. what a lazy world this has become. Someone wise once said, just because we can does not mean we should and I could not agree more.
