I've heard that by pressing the LIKE button a hidden option will become present in PowerToys, allowing you to increase the performance of your PC by 10X :D
@SteveMacStickyАй бұрын
So by extension, if we press the unlike button, we will degrade our PC performance by 10x I guess.

I can confirm you are 100% correct there

PowerToys is an official Windows tool, meaning its features are designed for Windows. Unfortunately, Windows 'spaghetti source code' is such a mess that they were never able to integrate these features, which could truly take Windows productivity to another level

Great content! Keep them coming. Could you please make a video on setup of a fresh windows install. Would be good to know your take on bloatware removal and usage of non-microsoft
@Productive_TechАй бұрын
Thanks so much! I've already made a video that is similar to what you might be looking for which is a comprehensive guide on windows settings that you need to change after a fresh install of windows 11 if you want to check that out on the link below. But yeah for a full installation of stuff like bloatware and other things I'll add it to my list of topics to consider. Thanks for the suggestion. :) kzbin.info/www/bejne/gKaTko2loN-FnJI

Hmmm, I haven't checked how much RAM power toys uses (or when using this feature in particular) but haven't had any issues in my experience just yet. Thanks for sharing! :)

bro can you suggest me a 100% free vpn for pc with high speed. also a app for checking internet speed always like a overlay. you are doing great. keep it up.
@Productive_TechАй бұрын
Hey man appreciate the comment and kind words. Though I personally don’t use a VPN as it’s not something I need on the networks I use so wouldn’t want to give a bad recommendation. However for the overlay thing you mentioned there is an app you can get called TrafficMonitor, not sure if this exactly what you’re looking for but allows you to get a taskbar icon as well as some overlays for your internet speed. You should get the GitHub page if you search it on Google. Hope that helps

aand I deleted again quickly, because it breaks functionality in most games (Assassin's Creed, Plague Tale etc...) and I wasn't able to figure out which module of PowerToys hijacks certain keyboard combinations
@Productive_TechАй бұрын
Interesting, I've never personally had an issue with key binds and other shortcuts with power toys installed but yeah that would be pretty annoying.
@TazzSmkАй бұрын
@Productive_Tech I can only guess PowerToys lack ability to bypass games (fullscreen and windowed) so keyboard combinations like shift/ctrl/alt/space/enter override/intercept ingame functionality :/
@Productive_TechАй бұрын
@@TazzSmk Ah ok I get you, I think if there was a way of somehow disabling power toys from a single button or something (probably too much effort to implement though) then that way it could be toggled on the fly when you want it on or off...

I don't get PowerToys, like why can't Microsoft just incorporate those features into Windows instead?
@Productive_TechАй бұрын
I think it's to do with the stability of the tweaks but yh I would agree that there are quite a few tweaks that are stable and useful enough to implement right away.
@frohenleidАй бұрын
Not just that but power toys has community created content where rights, security and service are more complicated. It's all safe and all but the OS is held to different standards.

@Productive_Tech7 күн бұрын
Windows 7 was actually polished to a better degree then that of windows 10 or 11 launches. Win 11 still has some work to do
