I would think these wankles would shake like crazy because the lack of power? I see a lot of them running the deltaV wheel to get the wheel speed up at the hit. The weld Delta V is no joke. It’s not that they are much lighter it’s the fact that more of the mass of the wheel is closer to the axis or rotation. It’s only 2 lbs lighter than the old wheel but 60% of the mass is 40% closer to the center of the wheel! And because of it’s conical shape it’s is extremely stiff causing it to deflect a lot less when the car squares the tire. Some people talk about the added volume of internal air due to the conical center section also helps raise the pressure as tire Temp climbs up in the run. We run inferred wheel temp sensors on our car and we will see upwards of 400 degrees right be for the tire breaks loose in to smoke. This is a pretty cool documentary !! Tganks

It’s crazy the turbos make it quiet enough to hear the car bark the seals at the hit🤣🤣🤣 that screech you hear when the tires slow down after the burn out. Aka barking the seals
