@@bryanharrison3889 trendy, not gimmicky. A dingwall 5 string has 3" more scale length than this Ibanez SR bass on the lowest string, while still feeling like you're playing a standard scale bass. It would be heinous trying to play a normal 37" scale

in Djent it’s fine when the bass doubles guitar OR does something more interesting since often the bass really adds heaviness and tightness if it’s doubling the guitar riffs, but it is cool when they play something really cool which adds something to the song

Hi pls Adrian or someone who owns this bass ... I have a quick questions.... First i cant see ... Does anybody knows on what mid switch position he has that switch? And Second Improtant .... Is about neck dive and balanced of this bass. I did tried some of those high SR models at guitar shops and they were neck heavy... But i really love this one... SS frets, high polish, that beautiful finish, Nordstrand pups.... And i know SR models just have that neck heavines.... But I was curious.. I am playing like Adrian neck high and body lower, if i would be playing like that, if that neck is that heavy to fall down even from that high position?? Does anyone knows who owns it? Or maybe Adrian, if he reads this.... Thanks to anyone...

I've got a very similar looking bass which is the SR1405E, looks and plays pretty much exactly the same but is now discontinued. This is the 2605 with a different EQ setup and a glossy finish and slightly differnet EQ setup. SR Premium are BEAUTIFUL.

The worst part is you being some sort of gatekeeper on how instruments should be played. He uses 3/5 strings in this song, but I guess you were so worked up over the pick you failed to notice. Also, not every song needs to utilize all strings.
