Vanilla ice cream plus some pieces of waffle cone on top with the apple mixture😍

OMG, This looks so good! Imagine doing this w/ some peaches; just way less time in the microwave I would assume as I would think if overheated they would get mushy unlike apples that have a sturdy and crunchy base that makes them a bit more forgiving for the microwave ♥️

I am not single but make this kind of thing. I love oat flour mug cookies/cake. Delicious with a ton of fiber and not too sweet (you can always add more chocolate chips or whatever).

I love that you use full fat Greek yogurt! So sick of these influencers all using nonfat and then people wonder why these things aren’t satiating,

This is a good idea, but not desert - more a breakfast. To make it more like a dessert maybe a quick crumble topping and some ice cream instead of yoghurt?

Yogurt makes it breakfast to me; ice cream makes it dessert. And delicious either way.

For some people (me) it is! I love it! Sometimes I lash out and put some real maple syrup on it! I’m a foreigner living in the USA and I don’t like most things eaten here for dessert/ packaged desserts or ice creams, too much crap in everything! If I eat this, and Abby dessert or something similar (which I love), when I find a “real” dessert that I actually like, I go for it, guilt free 🙃

@@Brynwyn123 Thanks for that; no really, way to make me and others feel shame. I have worked very hard to get where I am today, but seeing your comment is upsetting, and feels very unwarranted. You have no idea what I or others have been or are going through. I'm sure the rest of the ED survivor community will "appreciate" your insensitive comment, some of us are literally just trying to survive. Until you are faultless, maybe you should keep your snide comments to yourself; and if you can't or won't, perhaps think before replying to other's food comments that happen to be on a dietitian's channel, which is super mindful of ED's. Have a great day, I hope you eat what you like without shame and enjoy it.

@@Brynwyn123not true. people can struggle with certain food items because of how others and society view those foods, without having an eating disorder. obviously it's something they should work through, but try to be a little more considerate of others when commenting.

@@joeyree22 from a stranger on the internet - you're doing your best and honestly, that's all anyone can ask of from you. i obviously don't know your struggles around food, (if you have any) but i hope you continue to feel good about yourself and the foods you eat

Looks good and I’m down to try it, but I can’t help but feel that this is a diet culture “dessert.” It’s more of a breakfast-type recipe to me.

diet culture would never allow brown sugar. You'd probably need some expensive alternative like agave

It's good to have a variety of options for desserts! Sometimes dessert can just be fruit, or fruit with honey/sugar/or something like this, and sometimes it can be a fudgy chocolate cake with ice cream and sprinkles! Both are good, and its up to the individual if they have a preference for one over the other, but it's good to provide options like this. Sometimes also you just have a big sweet tooth and want a sweet snack but dont think it's a good idea to eat a lot of heavy desserts or too much sugar if you can help it. I have a really big sweet tooth, so it's nice to see things like this that I can have when I get a craving, because, while some days I DO have sweets/cakes/ice cream multiple times a day, it's also a good idea to keep in mind that it might be better to substitute that with something that has less sugar if I think it will be satisfying enough
