9:50 Actually the science of the soda going out of the can works because. Granny and the can she is holding are being pulled down be gravity. But the liquid in the can is lighter so when the can is opened there is an opposite force pushing the liquid up because for every force there is an equal and opposite force more like the liquid would be falling at a different rate then granny and the can so by comparison it would look like it’s flying up. Not sure on all that science but from how I understand this science I think this is what’s happening.

Fun Fact: Due to budget restraints, this was animated in the Philippines where the animators there were new to computer animation and had to be trained by the producers over the course of the 3 year production. Animators in the Philippines are more trained in fast paced 2D hand drawn animations back then doing Hanna Barbera cartoons. A lot more information is on Wikipedia! I had a colleague who worked as a lighting artist for the Grandma's house interior. I'm a professional animator now and despite all the technical flaws, I still love this movie for its storytelling!

This movie is so nostalgic and the bad animation is what makes this movie even funnier. This movie is such a feverdream and I love it.

Jude's pure irrational vitriol and the other two goading it on may be the peak of cinematic storytelling.

This movie is a lesson in ‘good animation cannot save a bad story, bad animation can be saved by a good story.’

Josiah has surpassed the human evolution, and became the ultimate being. Also, some of the jokes in this movie are honestly really funny and well delivered.

I used to watch the fight scene at the end of the movie over and over to the point where there was an actual scratch on the DVD. Then I donated the DVD to a thrift store. It was gone in a week 😂

Honestly, I enjoyed hoodwinked the first few times around. I don't know why, but it just scratches the itch of "Fairytales but different" the same way Shrek did.

Dont be shaming Josiah for his rolling pin variety 15:15 _"Classic rolling pins are generally made from wood and feature a smooth, cylindrical roller and two easy-to-hold handles. Ease of use: These models are the most popular for a reason-they're easy to handle and work well."_ -google _"If you ever come across a questionably small handled rolling pin that is carved from one solid piece of wood, you've likely stumbled upon a very old-fashioned model of rolling pin."_ -google modern rolling pins often have a hole in the middle so the pin rolls independent of the handles, meaning grip of handles had to be slightly firmer than a solid piece rolling pin.. Vintage/classic/OG rolling pins were often made from one piece of wood, i.e. fixed handles.

This movie is often described as great writing with Foodfight! animation and fun fact the voice of Twitchy the squirrel was actually the director just sped up and pitched really high.
