Jingle All The Way - 1996
Workaholic Howard Langston (Arnold Schwarzenegger) wants to make things up to his son, Jamie (Jake Lloyd), and wife, Liz (Rita Wilson). He promises to get Jamie the hottest toy of the season, Turbo-Man -- even though it's Christmas Eve and the toy is practically sold out. As Langston hunts down the elusive gift, he runs into mailman Myron (Sinbad), another father on the same quest. With the clock winding down, Langston's moral code is tested as he starts to learn the real meaning of Christmas.

Fun Fact: The idea for this movie was inspired by a producer’s troubles finding his kid a Buzz Lightyear toy, because Thinkway Toys didn’t make much supply to meet demand, thinking that Toy Story wouldn’t be a hit.

The bit with the belt system had me dying! I was in Taekwondo, and the system there is mostly accurate to what you pulled up. It goes white, yellow, orange, green, blue, blue with a black stripe, brown, brown with a black stripe, red, red with a black stripe, and finally black. No purple.

Fun fact about the belt system in martial arts- there’s a bunch of different ones depending on which style of martial art you’re doing. Purple is a belt in certain styles, I know it’s the one after yellow in American Kwan Tang Soo Do.

That style of car is called a Woody, though that's more for the station wagons with the 'wood' panelling, which is actually just a pattern on acrylic. For example, my class had a physical test which meant you had to run 3 miles in under 30min and do 100 push ups, situps, and leg lifts immediately after. After that you had to do around a half hour of sparring. For people under 18 you got a different test where it is a shorter run and you do less exercises. You can test for the solid black belt once you're 18 or older.
