30 seconds in and I knew I was going to need this.... No clue what to do with it or how to use it, but we'll figure that out later.

Oscilloscopes are really handy for just about anything related to audio circuits and if it's fast enough RF circuits. Being able to see the shape and magnitude of noise or the signal voltage at the base of a transistor is immensely powerful.

@@TheGmr140 there’s a few things to look out for on any scope, like input impedance and bandwidth. I’ll cover that in the future 👍

Interesting. I never considered how useful the additional functionality of a tablet would be in combination with a scope.

I would love to see you generate an AM modulated signal (100% depth), at above 25MHz to see how well it does with capturing that, and how well the trigger settings work. (The I have the same Siglent 1062X and it can do this up to 60MHz). Cheers and 73

like the video, was looking for a Oscilloscope for laptop . VTO Series caught my attention but once I seen specification only on Mpts 50 . I look away 50 not my area specialty of automotive, well for somewhat old car. still give thumb up though.

200mz on a tablet is actually quite impressive and hooking it up to that Siglent made for a nice reviewing…Any chance of hooking it up to a rubidium frequency standard also (cell phone tower, or equivalent) and check calibration before I write that check?
@TheSmokinApe8 ай бұрын
Sorry man, I don’t have access to that stuff

@@TheSmokinApe You don’t strike me as someone who doesn’t have a 10mhz frequency standard, But they are cheap on e/pay used and decommissioned cell stuff, ultra stable rubidium in a little oven case (There is also nice video on the subject over on U/tubes)…Typically I use them to calibrate my workbench all to one standard, Thinking you should at least check it out… But thanks for the review on that tablet O/scope, That is pretty cool.

Overpriced when you consider the Rigol DHO8xx series is more than $100 cheaper and has 12 bit ADC conversion. That’s 16x more resolution for less money. Bangood makes no mention of the ADC resolution on this device so one must assume it to be 8 bit.
