Join me for a delightful mid-September tour of my lush tropical garden! 🌿 As summer transitions to autumn, I'll show you how my garden continues to thrive with vibrant colours and exotic plants. In this video, we'll explore:
Brugmansia Collection: See my pot of three Brugmansias in yellow, red, and white, still blooming beautifully as the seasons change. Plus, meet the rare Brugmansia sanguinea I grew from seed!
Night-Blooming Jasmine: Experience the enchanting allure of my night-blooming jasmine that's special to me, especially during these cooler nights.
Tropical Bananas: Discover how I prepare my Ensete ventricosum 'Maurelii' banana plant for overwintering and get tips on caring for non-hardy varieties like Musa basjoo and the Chinese dwarf banana as autumn approaches.
Dazzling Dahlias: Marvel at my dahlias that are still flourishing thanks to regular deadheading, adding late-season color to the garden.
New Garden Border: Check out the recently planted border featuring hostas, nandinas, and Lobelia Queen Victoria grown from seed-setting the stage for a stunning display next spring.
Exotic Additions: Explore my collection of coleus, geums, red hot pokers, and other plants that add texture and interest as we move into fall.
Seasonal Changes: Observe how plants like Hydrangea paniculata are changing hues with the cooler temperatures, showcasing the beauty of a garden in mid-September.
Garden Prep for Fall: I'll share essential tips on how to care for your garden during this transitional period, including overwintering strategies and preparing plants for the colder months ahead.
Whether you're a seasoned gardener or just starting out, I hope this mid-September tour inspires you to embrace the seasonal changes in your own garden. Don't forget to like, comment, and subscribe for more gardening adventures!

Hi, thanks for your comment. Yeah it really compatible with tropical themed garden. Grows pretty tall 1-1.5m hight and wide. It’s really fast grower too. I have put mine in the ground during spring this year and already grown so much.

@livgardenuk I think I may have to look into it. I love miner merlot which is the only euphorbia I have, but doesn't get too tall, the John Phillips looks like it will give the extra height I am after.

It’s definitely one of the or the largest euphorbia shrub out there.
