I went to a gardening centre today! Yes, with the wonderful September sunshine. No dahlias that I remember - I went there for some pansies and astras. And it's a bus ride through a beautiful landscape. So this is quite an extra treat on top of that! ☀️

P.S. That bouquet in the vase reminded me (because I remembered the conversation I had with my sister about the flowers we like and might like receiving in a bouquet), that my sister recently got a book about the rose gardens at the Rundāle palace in Latvia. It's practically an overview of rose varieties, many quite old! I have no idea how easy it is to get outside of Latvia - she got it from Latvians - but on the off chance it is, I thought to bring it up because it's such a beautiful book full of flower joy - and many, many pinks. 🌸

Absolutely love this video. Husband is horticulturist here in Washington State, USA. We are on the dry side of the state, and these are a real go to for our summer/ fall flowers. It would be awesome to visit there. So good to see, hear so many bees, buttterflies, and bumbles. Keep those fantastic videos coming with quilts, and all other adventures.

My sister belongs to a garden club in southern Massachusetts. When she takes her dog for walks she came by a house with a lovely front garden. As it turned out the owner was out in it tending to garden. They got to talking and as it turned out the woman stated she lived in England for many years and that is where and how she learned REAL gardening. My sister says the English LOVE their gardens! This woman’s yard is the BEST in the neighborhood. My sister would LOVE to work at such a lovely place for sure. Thank you so much.

So beautiful!!!!!! Here is Pennsylvania, USA, in our area we have many cut- flower growers, that have acres and acres of all colors and varieties. Most are annuals with some perennials mixed in like lavender, eucalyptus and bulbs like dahlias, gladiolas. The selections are endless.
