You know a lot of times, we feel our lives are the worst, but i think if you looked in anybody else’s closet, you wouldn’t trade your shit for they’re shit.

I watched this movie on 03.01.2019. It's a great movie. It's a movie about being happy when you do things that people feel good about.

@@lesgrossman4636 Not really, I think he captured youth, and the ambiguity of choice. He was the most clueless one in the group and I think that that was important. All of the kids, (especially fuckshit) had no idea what their lives were gonna be like. Even ray (the more rational one) didn't exactly know how to control his own life. But whatever, that's just my opinion.

the realest movie ever made. most authentic piece of art. it's not a story, it's all of our real lives. we're all sunny, fuckshit, na'kel, fifth grade. jonah hill found these actors at a skate park and they build an undying bond on screen over "riding a piece of wood." and that's just human connection. so much more to this art than we think about.

I think my meaning of life is to live my life as I was a kid. I don't know why most people just accept to live the life their parents wanted them to have or like society wants you to live... I mean yes I need to make money to live but I don't need big cars or a big mansion or whatever bullshit. I was the happiest when I was a kid and I didn't have a big car or a big mansion back then to be happy. I just needed some free time, good friends and some good weather... to me there is no big future granted for my generation.. look at the world. It was shit back then and its today because of some shitty people but I don't have to accept that.. if I die with 40.. then what.. the world still gonna be around there so why dedicate my life to the standards of today when in reality no one gives a fck about what you have achieved that is accept by society. So I am 20 now and my goal is just to be happy to myself. its sounds cliche because its sounds a bit silly but it just sounds so silly because its simple. People make their life harder than it is especially in the western world we are pretty privileged compared to other places on earth. As the film said lots of people have it harder in their life and you wouldn't want to trade your life with theirs. Yea just be happy and embrace that feeling with whatever makes yourself happy.

I'm a huge NIN fan, and I saw the movie just 'cause I knew they did the score. I wound up coming for the music, and staying for the movie. It was a great first effort from Jonah Hill and I liked that it wasn't a total downer despite dealing with some heavy stuff.
