Gotta love warranties. I live in the rust belt and I had a local shop honor a flex pipe that rotted out just a little after 2 years. Initially, I thought I was SOL but they replaced it for free.

The look on his face was priceless. When they did these promotions they never thought one would come back over 30 years later. They should in the spirit of the warranty honor it in full as a good promotion. And btw there is a Walker that sounds better than flows. I will try to drum up the number and series.

Cool video. I have a 1964 Ford Galaxie with the lifetime alignment from Sears Auto Center. It is from 1992. I think I'm SOL since all the sears auto ctrs have closed.

Reminds me of my brother. He drove a 1975 Ford station wagon. During that time period they offered lifetime warranty on parts including batteries. He drove the station wagon for more than thirty years and the dealership continued to honor the warranty.

We have an 81 Corvette that has Flow Masters is does have a good sound. The factory mufflers, which have the lifetime warranty are a turbo muffler, which also have a good sound and no highway drone, which is a plus for road trips😎. Thanks for watching & leaving a comment 😁

The lifetime j.c. penny battery is a good one as well, there is a corvette owner of about this vintage still getting his battery paid for by j.c. as they obviously don't have auto departments anymore, they always offer to buy you out which is 2 batteries worth, not worth it, anyway, nice ride and good luck

Pay the difference? He absolutely didn't do him any favors. If there's a lifetime warranty on an item and the part can't be found, then the next closest part (in this case the Flowmaster) should be used at the expense of the business, not having the vehicle owner/ customer pay the difference. This is only acceptable in this clown world. I can't stand that humble cheat fake friendly stuff. TAKE CARE OF THE CUSTOMER.

I agree and the op mentions the drone in his other vette from the fm, I could understand actually wanting a quite cabin muffler put back on it/replaced, buckle up, it's about to get a whole lot worse here in america
