Sachin dominated McGrath till 1998 but McGrath dominated Sachin on many occasions after that. But some Sachin haters try to belittle Sachin by trying to hide facts.

McGrath dominated sachin after his tennis elbow injury when Sachin stopped playing attacking cricket and changed his game completely..otherwise if you watch before sachin played shots on mcgarth which was never played by any batsman. He dominated him in 2001 odi series in india and in 1999 test series also he played a great innings. He dominated him in first champions trophy....McGrath got him in 1999 world cup which was a great delivery. Before 2003 you will remember sachin for his innigs rather than McGrath taking his wickets but after that you would see mcgarth dominating bcoz style of sachin got change otherwise he was only batsman who could score faster than shewag when they both use to open together.

@@lohitkumar5065 You are right. Tendulkar didn't get many big scores against Mcgrath outside the subcontinent. Only in Kenya did he hit Mcgrath for 3 sixes. But Tendulkar struggled against Mcgrath in C&U one-day series in Australia. Also, '03 world cup final was a huge game and Tendulkar failed same as '99 world cup and '07 Champions trophy and on all 3 occasions, Mcgrath got him. Tendulkar scored a brilliant 90 in Bombay and 2 Test tons, one at the MCG and another match-winning one in Chennai, and a fifty in Bombay in '04 which India won. So, essentially Mcgrath was on top about 7 out of 10 times. And Tendulkar needed one one-day hundred against Mcgrath in Australia and at least one or two reasonable scores in '99, '03 and '07 games for the battle to be tied at 50:50.

In 90's and early 2000s Tendulkar has consistently been the highest scoring Indian cricketer when touring Australia. He has scored many hundreds in tests and one days against Australia. Who can forget his back to back big scores 100 and 90 in odis finals in Australia to win India's first tournament victory there. Also the desert storm innings and final centuries where also against Australia.

McGrath sledged Sachin and other Indian batsmen several times to gain some upper hand immorally and un sportively. The very appearance of such a bowler irritates the batsman and entices him to play some wrong shots in haste. The great Windies bowlers did not even glare at the batsman while bowling. Though Sachin played well against Glenn previously, the successive losing of his wicket to Glenn during two WCs made him inferior in the vision of some cricket lovers.
