Final zinaida way harder because her ac faster thanks to the booster while daemon firepower is better glad he is not that fast that you can outmanuver him with fast ac and keep your range from him or just pile bunker him while he is chasing you in a straight line

Now I wish Daemon and Zinaida duked it out. They would make an incredible, but also scary tag team. If they ever remake Last Raven (wishful thinking, I know) they need to make that an alternate mission for a hard mode run.

Daemon is one of those few people that deserves such a name, was planning on recreating his build in Gen 6 but seems like I got my work cut out for me lol

Daemon fucked me up in last raven. Truly worthy of the no.1 spot Few ways ive defeated him is napalm plus double high heat handguns. Or the classic large missile arms 😂 AC6 rank no.1 was meh, even in the mission the ai was mid to be honest. They should have put double zimms and make him super aggressive

Daemon was on another level. Cool design, super aggressive, and probably had one of the craziest loadouts ever. Hopefully they recapture that in the next one.

No, I think it was a Karasawa build that would basically teleport, stagger, and land the fully charged shot without fail.

I don't play PvP in AC6 but that plasma ac's strategy and connection are DEFINITELY in the sus category. If he claims he's not a cheater, this video says otherwise... Sorry your sanity had to take a hit from that guy, boss, hope you got some rest.

Haven't fought him yet (still going through Silent Line Portable and even rethreading my AC3 Portable steps) but from the videos I've seen... Yeah, I'm glad he's just an AI Ranker and not someone you actually fight in a mission in Last Raven.

Daemon was difficult bc they really hindered you coming off of AC3 Silent Line. The changes that were implemented in AC Nexus really slowed down the game play and made everything so deliberate. The overheat effect was down right criminal. If you take too much fire - overheat, EN gauge drains, boost too much, overheat - EN gauge drains. And the tiny FCS lock boxes further spiked the difficulty. Meanwhile about 70% of the arena roster of Last Raven had human plus/OP-Intensity features - even lower rankers like Jetter. Couple that with the CPUs flawless tracking and resource management and you had a real nightmare. It feels like they beefed up the linear gun just to make him difficult.

Hey Boss, was wondering if daemon's AC is a sort of kite build. It's the same sort of setup I mostly use. Just swapped the one Huxley with the laser slicer. And a lighter frame with allula boosters for the close to medium combat.

Not really. You could play at long range, however, the best results come from applying pressure at close range with this build. A kite focuses on keeping distance while taking shots with rifles and missiles.

Now try perma flying with charge shots. Dual harris. NGI and lightweight arquebus generator should keep you flying.

Since it got a buff, I found Fluegel is very good for middleweights with a nice balance of speed and QB. Give it a try, it's also great for melee builds.

@@dsaBOSS I'm a melee enjoyer and use Fluegel and Kikaku for the boost distance on cancels, but you got it looking very quick even against kites without the cancel! I'm definitely taking them back to the lab 😂

The build looks good, interesting way around not having Linear Cannons in back slots as an option. But could you have swapped one of the Harris' for a Laser Orbit to represent his energy machine gun? (He originally had a ballistic and a laser mg in his hands after-all)

Thanks, like I said in the video, I tried different loadouts to replicate that and they all fell short. I wanted to have an energy option that was close to the SILKY laser mg, but the laser arsenal and even pulse options sacrifice too much aggression. Daemon would literally overheat/stunlock the player relentlessly, so until there's a proper SILKY alternative (hopefully linear cannons too), this loadout was able to capture that play style perfectly with what's available.

@@dsaBOSS yea my solution was to use a pulse gun for the silky, and dual stun needles for the linear cannons. I do enjoy seeing other peoples end results though!

​@@PinkTuskedMammoth When I tried a pulse rifle for this build, I couldn't believe how much downtime there was between bursts. I'm sure you noticed this too. Pulse weapons used to be really good in the previous games, but they underperform in AC6.

Can't personally speak for the matchmaking at lower ranks, but it sounds like players are still finding matches. Some deliberately stay at a certain rank.
