A haunting and beautifully crafted alternative version of Roscoe. I feel something completely different listening to this compared to the original. I feel so melancholy and touched. Thank you.

Super underrated.

I respectfully disagree! It is slightly slower than the album version (maybe 7 or 8 BPM at most?) but I feel that is necessary to suit the reflective mood and let the instruments breathe. That's what gives it that haunted feel. So good.

It's clear that Tim did not need Midlake, cud've gone solo and probably wouldn't hv burned out

I found them a couple years ago and it breaks my heart to know they're gone. I've still yet to hear every song so they still feel new and fresh.......but it hurts knowing that's all I'll ever have
@ragpicker0063 жыл бұрын
Tim Smith leaving was IMHO a terrific loss for Midlake. I have seen them live since and they are still a good band, but their main songwriter and chief vocalist has gone. Sad.
