I'd be interested in an Arrow-style big box for Se7en, but the previously announced sets were more than I wanted, in content and price. I assumed there would be a cut-down release, now I'm hoping to see the same for The Neverending Story. I've been wanting The Gift on Blu-ray for years. Fingers crossed. I don't like the whole "collect all the Deadpool covers" thing; it reeks of comic book company greed that contributed to the 90s crash. Can't wait for Galaxy Quest. I think I prefer the standard art, and would have liked to see it on a Steelbook with some nice gloss or matte details. Stir of Echoes will also be a day 1 purchase.

There are 2 different 4K Steelbooks for Deadpool and Wolverine. That Wolverine version of Deadpool & Wolverine 4K Steelbook is on fire. That Deadpool is ok.

PARIS, TEXAS is an art-house film. It's okay if you don't get it. What matters is you *did* try, and are willing to give it another. It took me 6 tries to like WITHNAIL & I. That's a pretty reasonable price for LONGLEGS. I'll pick it up next week or so. Any word on if they fixed those audio channel issues the previous MAD MAX 4Ks had? It's why I didn't buy the steelbooks when they came out. I have to wait until the Criterion sale to get that Araki boxed set.

If I remember correctly the series was filmed on video. So there is not much visual potential for 4K. Friends was shot on film and that's where the extra resolution and color information can be extracted from.

I wonder if Criterion only uses HDR if the process can be approved by either the film's director and/or the director of photography? That could explain why it doesn't happen on older films, even in cases where the same 4K release in the U.K. has HDR (eg., The Trial, Seven Samurai, etc.).

About time they announced dead pool 3 on 4k but where is the announcements for twisters on 4k & Alien Romulus on 4k. And cool that seven is Finally getting a 4k releaes. But where is David Fincher panic room on bluray or 4k. And this is sad bc Warner Bros is releasing friends complete box set series on 4k. Nothing of interest for me this week. Criterion's Dec anouncements are a whole lotta nothing I care about. I was hoping they were going to do another Godzilla 4K. It would have been awesome if they would do lik a movie on month since they could then cover most of next year with everything that Japan has gotten so far. My wife might be interested in that Slumberparty Massacre set since we have yet to get the Shout! release as well. Never heard of that company though. Where is the best place to order from for them? I'm also starting to become more picky with what I buy though. We're actually going through a big purge of our collection with things that we know we won't end up watching anytime before they're released on 4K, things that we came to realize we just don't like enough to own, things we bought with the expectation we would have kids one day (and will not), or things we bought because they were part of a franchise.

I will have to continue getting the Kino Eastwood 4Ks. I am disappointed with Amazon for my Body Double order. Hello Ken, thanks as always for another well done episode! 18:00, KL also has Two Mules For Sister Sara on 4K with Clint Eastwood. That is their 3rd title release at once for Nov. on Clint Eastwood. I own most of his movies, and that Eiger Sanction is pretty good. You would like it. It came out in 1975 I believe, the year after 1974's Thunderbolt and Lightfoot. George Kennedy stars in both with Clint. 1976 was the big western Clint did, The Outlaw Josey Wales. No 4K on that as of yet. 2026 will be the 50th Anniversary, so perhaps they are waiting on that.
