Really good job of explaining ty I could not figure mine out yesterday, so I used the other type, but wanted to find out why mine did not work. The handle was backwards. the 1/2 moon cutter was in the feed position but the handle was forward and in the way. This morning saw a set screw on the side and took it out and moved the handle back with moon up and it should work next time. hope this helps someone

Go off of feel. You’re dealing with aluminum so you dont need to go hulk mode, but you dont want it slipping off. After you do it once, you’ll know. Thanks for the comment!
