A suggestion- start out with the zipper tabs wider -say 2”- easier to sew on with hang over the edge, then trim to the zipper width. Great tutorial, will check out FB.

***thank you for thinking about the zipper width for the seam allowance! I can't even begin to tell you how frustrated I was when I made my first bag and it turned out wonky because of the difference in zipper tape width/seam allowance! It definitely does make a difference. Sewing is one area of my life where size DOES matter 🤣😂 You are so very generous!!!! Thanks for another fantastic pattern! 🙏❤️

Do you have a video of the best way to press a bag and give it that perfect finish?

I don't! For something small like the midnight kiss, I will use a tea towel folded up and placed inside to help it hold shape while I press from the outside. Larger bags I will put the folded towel in my hand and inside the bag to press the outside. I have a cordless Panasonic iron that is pretty small and can fit inside most bags that are at least handbag size.

Thanks Laura! It was a 2014 print from Cotton + Steel fabrics by Melody Miller. It is out of print, but I do believe that Melody Miller recently released more of the same fabric in different colorways.
