Back in college in the early 90's, we would get locked up on Friday nights before our football games the next day. Midnight Run was one of our go-to Friday night watches.

Dennis Farina, Serrano, was a cop in Chicago. This was his first major role and he crushed it. Snatch was his best movie, but every small role he’s in he steals the scene
@robertmielke33802 күн бұрын
His first major role was in "crime story" TV series 1986

Finally, a reaction to this classic. Love all the F-Bombs. The plane scene was filmed in my hometown Cameron,Az. My uncle/boss(rip) says "No Telephone" 😂 The two gangsters & Marvin were hilarious. SPEAK INTO THE MICROPHONE!!! 🤣 Great Review.

Great reaction. Like you said, DeNiro's chemistry with Grodin is on fire here, and elevates this from a good action-comedy to a great one. Thank you.

Check out the movie "Stardust". Besides being a great movie it has Deniro in a role you have never seen him as before. It is not a huge part though.

Good reaction! Def a hidden gem movie. @3:22 the actor you mentioned you remember from the Bad Boy movies. That's actor Joe Pantoliano. First time I saw him was in Tom Cruise's breakout movie Risky Business(1983). Also a good movie. Fyi, the guy who plays Marvin and keeps taking Deniro's bounty,..was also in Martin Brest's Beverely Hills Cop, where he plays Sgt. Taggart.

I'm just in the credits and this reaction is already great! 😄 Just like The Poseidon Adventure, I KNOW this is going to rock before I even click on it! Totally money in the bank for me, there's NO WAY this reaction can miss! 😀This movie came after a few years where De Niro ONLY did supporting roles! It's a mystery why, but he did smaller parts in Brazil, The Mission, Angel Heart and The Untouchables. This was the first lead role he had done in a few years....and in a buddy cop action movie? We couldn't believe it. Not only that: this is what he did after The Untouchables! Look at how much weight he gained for Untouchables.....and how much he lost for THIS movie. (He wanted to be thin and gaunt). Ok, let me finish this reaction, I can't wait a minute longer!!!

Great reaction. Not many have reacted to this film. As for the $1,000 bills. They're no longer issued but are still considered legal tender (along with $500, $5,000, and $10,000). So turn 'em in if you still got 'em.

Yes, there used to be $500, $1000 and $10,000 bills. They are collectibles now and they can be purchased at coin and currency shows around the country. They are still legal tender valid money, but are worth more than face value as collectibles based on condition.

$1000 dollar bills are still very much in circulation, but because of money laundering all the serial numbers are accounted for, generally in bundles with provenance like artifacts. They are mostly only used in very large transactions between banks or corporations, transfers between vaults.

$1000 bills exist and are legitimate currency but only bills up to $100 are now printed. The highest denomination in U.S. currency was a $100,000 bill used only by the Federal Reserve.

De Niro has to do those Stiller comedies, if he wants to work, because they make money. He has the curse of being a timeless master of dramatic acting that never makes big money. Critics and fans love his work, but he isn't a big draw at the box office, weirdly, sadly. The money people are always hesitant to get into a project when they hear he's involved, sometimes they even pull money when he gets cast. Plus, he's older and probably doesn't get as many offers as he used to.
