I envy you! I never got to go to any of their concerts cause in 1983 I was in the Air Force stationed Castle Air Force Base Atwater CA that have been closed since 1995. That was also the year Marvin Gaye was murdered by his dad. 1983 was the best year for me and old school to me even though 1970’s to 1980’s are my favorite Soul and Funk bands. I miss those days. Best concerts best bands. You were fortunate to go to all these concerts. Kids today don’t know what they are missing👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿

Do anybody remember the concert with them and Zapp & Roger and The Gap Band in 1983. I was so tired from that concert when I got home I fell out. I will never forget that concert long as I live!!

I was 21 in the US AIR FORCE stationed at Castle Air Force Base in ATWATER home B-52 D-H when this concert was going on. That base is just a government unsold land with dead buildings like ancient ruins now. Been closed since the mid 90’s.
