Gary at the height of his metal powers; whoever put this up in 720p deserves a medal. We have no remastered release of this tour. Apart from Bob Daisley and Gary's friends, there is no interest in Gary on radio, nothing from the music industry and no interest from the music press. Those virtue-signalling buzzards don't deserve Gary Moore's legacy.
@BCRSIX2 жыл бұрын
Joe Bonamasa has a radio show on the SiriusXM blues channel. Today on his show, he played a Gary Moore cut, and spoke at length about Gary's greatness. It was good to hear. In this day and age, someone needs to play "Murder in the Sky" from his Victims of the Future album, about when USSR shot down the South Korean passenger jet.
@ronforeman25562 жыл бұрын
From God's Lips through Gary's guitar to Your Ears. To hear Gary play is to be transported to another astral plane entirely, and to have been able to SEE Gary perform was to glimpse the Divine. That's why you seldom if ever hear Gary's music played on radio, why the music industry appears to have no interest in capitalizing on his legacy, and why the music press ignores him. There really are such things as being TOO GOOD for this world, to be blessed with a GIFT SO GREAT exposes those who control mass media as deaf, dumb & blind.

I heard he was a lefty that taught himself how to play right handed, or maybe he was ambidextrous I'm not sure. I saw him up close once and was stuck out for me was how his hands made the guitar look like some brittle toy. The ease in which his fretting hand tackled the neck was a rare sight to behold. His hammer-ons were so fluid and fast his fingers reminded me of the wings on a hummingbird. This guy not only had the emotion of the greatest guitar players, but he could also shred the most obnoxious 80's shredders out of the building. He was one guy where it was obvious he was a natural and born to do it. He made it look effortless.
