Seriously like they’re just trying to make this go away so downplay it all so it doesn’t make them look bad because they had these type of people who behaved like this and did it towards a young girl u can see he’s clearly how like pissed off he is with how he so sharply ripped away from her grasp and punched her which u can’t see the direct contact but see how he pulled his arm back to do it and the sharp and loud sound it makes even on a set with lots of background noises. And see how angry he looks before and after hitting her, and never did anything that would show her he was just “joking”. I think she just agreed with their story and stuff because she doesn’t want to look like she’s “troublesome” and I mean that as in other companies thinking if they hired her she would speak out about the toxicity and such. Like how many actresses didn’t speak out on sexual harassment and such until me too happened because they felt they couldn’t and if that did they could be blacklisted or something.

I'm wondering how and why people still want to become kpop idols. The happiness you see in front of the cameras is fake. Violating human rights, restrictions, abuse, shaming, haters, creepy fans, debt, physical and mental health illnesses. Living with a lifelong trauma because of a few years of recognition is not worth it. Only a small percentage of kpop idols make it to the top and they must be extra lucky for the company management. Most kpop idols just suffer.
@heretostay5583 жыл бұрын
Yeah I understand that but look, they’re scouted at a very young age, and sometimes are from a totally different country. They’re just kids and want to become singers, they don’t necessarily know what truly happens behind the scenes. X company shows up, tells them they are gonna make them the next big thing in kpop and before they know it the kids end up signing a contract that forces them to do as the company says. Some start training at 9, if not even before that. Then have a debut during their teenage years (e.g HyunA literally debuted at 14). At that age you’re not conscious of the gravity of the situation. This is my opinion, but I don’t think companies should be scouting anyone under a certain age. These idols deserve to have a normal childhood and at least finish High school.

@@heretostay558 Exactly! There should be an age regulation! Moreover, I'm still surprised that parents allow their children to sign up, even though they know how it works in the industry. To add more context to the Sechskies “prank” that I found out about recently: This was a part of a kind of variety show where they did a lot of stuff like this. Also, before idols were on the show, they had a scripted “horror” segment that would include violence and even suicide. The plots surprised me because of how much media censorship there was at the time. They did a similar prank on H.O.T around that time saying Tony had a contagious infection and not to touch him. Heejun caved though when Tony said he needed to go to the bathroom and didn’t have the strength to walk. Heejun put Tony on his back and was making his way out of the room right when the show decided to end the prank. Heejun tried to pull the same prank on Kangta, but Kangta broke down in tears, so Heejun broke character (which was something the members had a habit of doing in these situations) and told him he was fine. Compared to other some of the other “horror” skit synopses on the show, I think both groups got off lightly - even though the show a bit before that time was vocally against idols appearing and didn’t talk nicely about them. However, Sunghoon was (understandably) really upset by it even long after the filming was over. EDIT to add: The show was called 기쁜 우리 토요일 or "Our Happy Saturday". It ran from 1994-2001 and was adult-oriented at the beginning and that was when the horror segment mainly ran. As idols became popular, it switched to being teenager-oriented.

He also supported Mina's stalker who showed up at her family home in Japan while she was there on hiatus for her mental health. In addition he has mentioned on several occasions said that he believes that if a person causes you heartbreak, you have a right to murder them. He has also said that he is certain that Nayeon wouldn't break his heart, but he still said that if she did he would not rule out the possibility of having to kill her and then himself. He is deeply disturbed but unfortunately he is receiving help from other saesangs and obtaining a lot of information. Please do not try to communicate with him as this agitates him and causes him to become more extreme. I'm kind of on Yewon's side. Yes, speaking to your seniors informally is disrespectful in many cultures, but I think the reaction to it is so over the top. I'm native and in my tribe we're taught to respect our elders and seniors--even if they're complete douchbags. That's one tradition I don't really care for because I'm the kind of person who calls it as it is and won't respect anyone if they don't show me the same respect, even if they're my senior. Honorifics and reverence for seniors is overrated and I like how Yewon didn't give any f*cks about it. I guess I like seeing kpop stars being rebellious because they're expected to do everything by the book.

@SomeSomaek3 жыл бұрын
While I understand your reasoning, it was not an act of rebellion, she was looking down on the actress. Korean formal speech patterns indicate hierarchy: by speaking informally to to someone who’s ‘ranked higher’, you are not freeing yourself from that system, instead you are using the same system but simply placing yourself at an unnecessarily high position. Given that she had much less life and professional experience, it was arrogant of her to put herself on the same level as if they were equals. She was looking down on the actress by disregarding her senior’s place in the hierarchy. Add to that the typical high school bully glare, and there’s no doubt she was being disrespectful. I remember first hearing about this case and not getting the problem, but now after living a few years in Korea, I can understand why the actress blew up like that. If the girl truly wanted to be rebellious, she could have spoken up against the actress on the show, instead, like a sly fox, she spoke down to her in a very casual way when she thought she was off camera.

I work in a really big company that it’s internationally known. I got abused many times verbally and physically. It has been almost 6 years now since i started working in there. I didn’t opened that up to my mother thinking that it would break her heart to know that her precious child being treated like that. And these people are had to go through those by on camera thinking how their parents feel like when they see those. As a child you don’t want to worry your parents so i’m sure there are many things that they hide and can’t admit on public to protect their loved ones. Sometimes you can’t quit because of economic situations and how hard you worked for that position. You just try to keep your mental state in good and think that it will over soon. I’m sure when they denied those abuses they were just trying to keep their image clear and think that it will over soon too

Taeyeon's incident still had me shocked when it came out. It made no sense to me HOW he was able to get backstage and be able to get up on the stage. It just goes to show how lacking their security is or they just have too many staff members running around to actually care about a wandering nobody until it got to that point where he's ruining a show. Taeyeon actually ended up on the ground out of shock after being dragged to the side. Sunny had a firm hold of her the whole time before the MC and another staff member tackled the assailant down. He was just crazy, plain and simple. Now the hair pulling. That's BS. He "claims" to have tapped her and then pulled her hair. Am I blind or are you, sir, blind? The video clearly shows you going STRAIGHT for her hair. And even if you did tap her shoulder, the most appropriate way to drag someone away is by their arm. NOT THE HAIR. Shamelessly lying to preserve his job. Here sir, lemme pull YOUR SHORT HAIR to the office so we can have a nice discussion on how much that actually HURTS and how UNPROFESSIONAL it looks to outsiders and embarrass you as I DRAG you by your hair.

I love that you made this video because abuse is rampant and always covered up unless there is absolute proof. As we see by the few cases in this video the perpetrators get a slap on the wrist. There's a lot I haven't seen and I was disgusted. The truly scary part is if things get caught on camera you know the abuse is off the charts off camera. It's abuse by people in positions of power and seniors that includes abuse by other celebs towards other celebs. That's why no one should be placed on pedestals because we never know who is an offender behind cameras. It's always covered up by everyone who knows either due to fear or because violent abusive people get off on it and there's no one to rein them in. Please keep making important videos and content that addresses serious issues within the industry because Korean celebrities do not have the freedom or power to speak out against their abusers. Imagine being abused and being forced to make a statement (by the people who are there to protect you) saying it was just a joke nothing happened! It's absolutely crazy it's a constant cycle of abuse.

Yea I don't think he would say "yeah I love my fans after blaming me for living a normal life, threatening my wife and made me lose my job"... Or Bts cuz I'm assuming youre talking abt JK having a tattoo... I do believe he's grateful since armys gave him this opportunity to make his dream come true.. But thats all. @Ra lee I do believe Chen is grateful for those who defend him and all cuz those are his actual fans.. I really disliked see him leave. Hes truly a talented singer.. So bad we lost such an amazing voice within' Exo but my points remain the same... What do the other Exo members believe abt this? And it either may be that they choose to keep their private life a secret and afraid someone will find out eventually or don't really care and choose to go with the flow which I highly doubt it since their companys policy and all. Since they saw the outcome as their main vocalist did... They would obv think its far fetched and hate/dislike having a gf and not being able to go out without being recognized or living a normal life ... And let me say.. All of them have gf / bf cuz they're attractive young men. What makes you believe they're single? Imagine the impact that would have on stupid idiotic obsessed fans...they simply can't say they are in a relationship ... Like bighit for ex..I truly pity Bts. Imagine having fans that you are so scared of to show your gf/bf .. You are dreaming if you believe they're truly in love with their fans and that includes all kpop idols.. And I don't get me wrong.. They have all the right to that..some fans really thrist way too much its embarrassing... Imagine JK reading a fanfic or the comm.sect. he would feel embarrassed for gods sake.. Cringe af... And then die..they don't LOVE YOU they profit out of your obsessions... Also what you see on camera dosent reflect their actual personality lmao....dont be dumb. They were trained for years to deceive kids like you to fall for them and buy their albums... You take way too much praise in those tattoos :)) they mean money and accomplishment... not some obsessed fans they will never know lmao

I can tell one of your biases is Jk because you seem to take pride in that tattoo its really not that big of a deal...every culture choose carefully what their tattoos should be..my points remain the same, its a big part of his accomplishments thats abt it..Also not like I believe you but even if you know someone in the industry. Some of these are straight up abuse by staff that needs major legal action and possible termination. I understand training is hard work but nobody deserves any physical or verbal abuse. What makes them think it's okay or the norm to do that? There is a difference between little jokes, friendly taps, etc and actually hurting somebody. To any of the staff members who actually did that to trainees, idols, and even other staff members, you should be ashamed of yourself, punished, and terminated. Again, this is to any staff members who actually did some sort of abuse towards those people. Nothing justifies it at all. I will speak up about that. To anybody that had to go through that, I am so sorry.

8:45 Ok I agree that his behavior is absolutely not ok to do, stalking and following a celebrity/ for you it's a total stranger which also is not ok. But this question has been annoying my mind for a long time now... Why is it that if it's publicly known that sb. is German that I feel like that it's being pushed into the foreground too much? It's always there when sb talks about them and it's in the sentences almost like a statement, I understanding that it's part of the information that we have, but I feel like that people say their nationality more often or it's like the second word in a sentence when sb is German, compared to sb whose for example British. I can understand that's often not to malicious paint every German as a bad person but it's still sounds like "oh look at them, once *again* these bad bad guys did sth..." It confuses me a lot, or I'm just a bit sensitive when I hear the word. Lol Btw if this guy can't understand that that you *should not* do those stalker things, then I'll right him a respectful, polite but strong letter because man - it *cannot* be the case that he does these things... Tschau, Nacht. :D 🌙

I just don't think it's respectful and you don't give her any privacy either, she works most of the day, around the clock - and then you come and probably don't give her any rest, not even when she wants to relax, which it just * cannot * be the case.
