This should DEFINITELY be a series. Obviously, I'm not in Ignite yet amd I will be a 1-man team, so this was immensely beneficial!!!! Thank you Lord Dingess and King Krug!

I like it, nice video. My only no no, IMO is, don't use WD40 to clean your clutch. It's a lubricant/cleaner. So it will leave a film on the clutch. Possibly affecting engagement. Brake cleaner is a better go-to IMO

for the clutch he is using the manual says use wd40

Great video guys, I've watched a lot of Briggs LO206 videos (I am starting my first season this summer) and this was one of the best I've seen. Hope you guys put out some more! Caster/camber would be good to explain to a newbie, cheers!

Great video!!! When you were going through the clutch you said when tracks are super intensive you need to replace the springs every 2-3 races. What do you mean by super intensive? Thanks!
@BobbyKrug2 жыл бұрын
Thank you! The factory setup is 2 black and 2 white springs. As the springs wear out, the engagement RPM drops so to ensure that we're getting the right engagement RPM, we must change out the springs. A track where you're reengaging the clutch frequently will wear out the springs faster.

Super helpful for a new guy getting into the ignite class. Looking forward to starting next week, what blue grease was that Greg put on the clutch bearings???
@BobbyKrug3 жыл бұрын
I don't think it was anything special, just some regular bearing grease.

for all the loose bolts, would you recommend blue loctite?
@BobbyKrug3 жыл бұрын
That's a good question. I'd say there's probably a reason why we don't already use Loctite. I'm gonna ask Greg and get back to you.
@BobbyKrug3 жыл бұрын
Greg says "I guess you could. We typically only use it on stuff that spins or generates heat." Might be a smart move!

What was the measuring device Dingess used to measure the float height?
@BobbyKrug3 жыл бұрын
Fancy man float gauge. Could use any measuring device that’ll go to thousandths of an inch.
