Great coverage, Phil! Real nice job! BTW, I have that RetroUSB "AVS" NES compatible FPGA system you started this stream with, and it's an amazing and clean NES system that's been out for years and is still going. NES games are amazing on it if you want to play on modern displays... Supports Game Genie codes, Turbo, scaling, scanlines, been happy with it for years!

Moar amazing coverage from the one and only PhilO. Angel says she would run and run all over that place. I love excitebike, played it all the time back in the day and now on the nes classic and ALU! I had the robot nes and it was pretty cool, the spinner was more fun than the actual game though.

Right on man looks fun! Thanks for showing us around! A local retro arcade near us that my wife and I go to every few months or so. They have an OG Return Of The Jedi arcade cabinet! Stinkin' hard game. lol Welp going to partial pay on the car at the repair shop tomorrow and I'm going to ask him if I can get the car earlier than this Friday when I get paid. It's worth a shot and my Z can take a rest sooner than I originally planned. I so can't wait to get my Grand Prix GTP back! Oh I got my custom slide in marquee installed on my T2 Arcade1up cabinet. I can't wait to reveal what the cabinet theme is! The marquee really pops and lights up nice! Szabo's are top notch!

Yeah I’m just not interested in trying to get full sized arcade cabs into my house. I remember always trying to find cabaret arcades on market places but then A1up came out and I was quite happy.

Only trouble with bubble dome hockey is it’s kind of a lousy single player experience, so unless and until you find someone as excited by it as you are, it goes unused.

Donkey Kong Jr. cereal.... I remember that stuff. Sounds like I should put my investments in cereal boxes and wait 40 years. Yeah, I had to pull out my "cleaning kit" when I got home. Tons of Q-Tips, 91% alcohol and a pink eraser first for the tougher stuff. Didn't need to pull out the electrical contact cleaner though. (I use alcohol and dry Q-Tips after that to get rid of any residue). Sounds like I picked the right day. It would have been a long walk in the rain if I parked in my usual area. Was the guitar guy there on day 2? (Brian Koenig). I picked up a CD of his Final Fantasy music. Quite good. That cop wasn't real? That freaks me out. I remember seeing him in the corner but didn't notice him being roped off.

Those games should’ve been cleaned ready to go or they should be cheaper to pick up, I’m glad you got them all working. Hey Phil, that looks like a blast man! That Toyota from Jurassic Park is an early 90’s Land Cruiser. Got Shaq Jam set up yesterday and man that screen is not good. Looks good head on and from side to side but I have a recliner in my game room that looks on to a 65 inch 3d plasma tv, the Blitz and Shaq Jam are on the side beside the recliner and when sitting in the chair it’s almost complete washout when looking over at Shaq Jam. The OG with the BOE looked so much better. I see a monitor swap in the future.

@@PDX7 yeah it does look worse than MK 30th but if A1up releases a a new XL similar to your deluxe version, I would be tempted to sell Shaq and upgrade. Funny side note, my wife doesn’t get into the arcade scene at all and I found her downstairs the other day playing my OG NBA Jam cabinet. I still haven’t listed it and thinking about keeping that one also 😆. That screen is just so much better! Yeah I’m down Saturday for a few games If I’m home.

I had a ColecoVision and a ROB robot & I can tell you it sucked. I wish I still had it for the Nostalgia factor but it was not fun back in the day. I'm equidistance between Toronto and Niagara Falls so if you - EVER - get the chance/opportunity to come to Ontario, Canada you can stay with me & my family. I'll even pick you up at the Toronto Airport. I have a nice inflatable double mattress I'd set up for you in my Arcade so as long as you don't mind sleeping amongst my Arcade1Up cabs (but I bet that'd be your preference anyways). I'd also pick up any cabinet in Southern Ontario and drive it the border to meet you if you ever wanted to buy something from Canada 🖖
