Honestly though not a great move for the husband and the police should of told him to not interfere. This sov cit is probably a litigation fiend like most of them are and will file a civil suit against the husband for "hurting him" or "assaulting him" it probably will result in him losing in court but that's still a lawyer the husband will have to hire. It's really best to just step away and let the police handle it.

@@Dr.Gainzzz nah the husband had no dog in the fight he would be nothing more then a Good Samaritan and he didn’t do anything more then help hold his arm with no force from the looks of the video. And when a law enforcement officer is fighting and needs help you are within reason and right to help if you feel comfortable doing so. And most agencies will actually help cover civil suit. I know my agency does normally we ask hey can you help or if say I was fighting someone and clearly needed backup and haven’t asked you could be like hey I can help you if needed and be very clear you never wanna just run up and try to jump in because you could be seen as a threat and possibly seen as a deadly threat with 2v1 against a lone officer that could have his hands full unable to get out in his radio so definitely make your intentions known loud and clear before trying to jump in and help. But not all departments allow it so if you are ever out and see an officer just stop and ask them they will let ya know. Hopefully that makes sense

Go watch the video of a guy getting arrested in the middle of a lake (or ocean) after beatin on his wife and then macing abother beach goer who confronted him, maced the guy then apparently jumped on his boat and road off. Then wants 2 police boat caught up with him he jumped off his own boat and started arguing with them in the middle of the water and avoiding the police boats from getting too close. Was even demanding a supervisor while out in the middle of the ocean while treading water. Lol The guy was BEYOND insufferable. Also a cop feel in while trying to grab for him and apparently the guy started trying to pull the officer underwater. (The video should be called something along the lines of “Suspect tries drowning police officer”… actually I think it’s on this very channel and was just uploaded a few days ago)

@gordonlewis7570 That's why cameras are objectively good. If you're innocent (whether officer or suspect) then they'll show that. The officers who had an issue with them were corrupt liars that didn't want to be exposed, simple as is.

I had some hope that this was anomalous behavior for him because he recently took some kind of drug(s). Like you said this wasn't his first rodeo, but the guy might be crazy with or without the drugs. I wish there was some kind of long term solution to this other than life time incarceration. In California we used to have insane asylums for the long term crazy people. There were problems with the system and it was shut down when Reagan was governor. Whether the system was bad or good, I don't think anything exactly like it has been recreated. Now, I think people like this, just end up living most of their lives in jail. I'd like to hear from somebody that deals with this kind of thing as part of their job. I might be wrong.

They really need to fix this going to hospital thing. 90% of the cases they say it just so they don't have to go straight to the station and they hope to avoid what they've already been told. i would add the magic words: if you want to go to the hospital, no problem, but if nothing serious turns up or no additional operation is performed on top of what we already do internally, you'll be forced to pay a $3,000 fine........... you'll see how they'll stop asking you to go to the hospital just to waste your time.

@rcrawford42 With many of us, the character is so distorted and so selfish that it really doesn't matter if drugs are involved or not. The person is the same either way. I have much empathy for addicted people, since I'm in recovery myself. But no one will ever recover from drug addiction unless he's willing to address his morality. An abstinent sociopath is still a sociopath, and a wrecked and dangerous and pathetic person. My point in posting was to send out an alarm-- not so much about drug use as about the shocking ethical vacuum we're now accommodating for in America. We are doing an experiment. Let's see how it goes if Americans choose en masse to demolish conscience, hmm? How will that turn out? Visualize a consequence-free culture, right? What would *that* look like walking down the street?

When we elected him, we in fact invited a strange experiment.
