Just tried this line for the last two weeks. I have thick, super coily hair and these products allowed me to finger comb through my hair. I’ve been raking the gel through as opposed to shingling-as I usually do which gives it a bigger look. But will experiment with using the Smoothie before singling the gel onto smaller sections for a more defined look. My only wish is that they provide bigger-16 or 32 oz bottles of the conditioner and leave-in-I can’t get enough of it... and the smell is fabulous.

I finally found MY HOLY GRAIL.............man. I had been all up in Shea Moisture, As I am, Cantu, Carols Child an nem..But this right here. Im keeping on lock AND my hair feels so dang bouncy but my curls be PopPin. Plus if you get on there website they may have some items on sale that Sallys Beauty dont. bam there it is. Okay, I Tried The Wash & Go Method The Other Day With This Same Line, But I Used The Leave In, Curl Smoothie, & Curl Custard & I Didnt Like The Outcome Of It Because I Felt Like My Curls Weren’t As Defined & My Hair Is Soooo Thick. So Next Time Imma Just Do The Leave In & Curl Custard.

I first tried these products two weeks ago. My curls stayed defined and still bouncy. I've been ranting about it on FB ever since. In past wash and go routines, I had to chose between defined or bouncy lol. Not with this line.

I don't know.. Maybe I used too much product but my hair was a sticky gelatinous mess the next day after using the cooling custard. Hmm. Ill try one more time with it.

Hi this happened to me the first time I used this product. I loved how it looked the day I did it. But the next couple of days I was crushed. One I used too much product and two didn't leave my hair wet enough. I don't think the instructions are too clear on telling you your hear should be wet like other products I have used. I recently tried again and it was perfect. No flaking and no sticky feeling. My only issues is that I am not getting a good week out of the style. My curls are very soft the product doesn't assist with hold the curls in my opinion. Outside of that I love it!! I currently have the shampoo, conditioner, leave in and the curls custard. There are a few other items In the line I would like to try.

How did it go the second time around? I've also found that girls with more low porosity hair tend to not like these types of products as much. So, the amount of product you're using and your hair type might be trying to keep you from true success with this product combo

At night, I would either throw my hair in a pineapple or moisturize, seal and twist. I hope that helps. My night routine takes FOREVER sometimes :-)

May I ask what you put on your head before you went to sleep? I mean, did you just lay down with that wet hair and go to sleep and woke up and it was like THAT? Or did you tie it up or put a bonnet on it? I always did. A 2 strand flat twist before bed, although right now, it's been 4 months since I shaved my head with no guard on the clippers. I've got a little curly TWA. You are HILARIOUS, by the way!

I actually have high porosity hair. So, I'm thinking this product might be a little too heavy for low porosity. But, you never know!

I actually would wet my hair a bit at night and twist up large sections. Then release the sections in the AM. You can also stretch it with scrunchies at night and then spray with water in the AM if you need to. Hope that helps!

I love the scent and how soft my curls were. It was my favorite sample (new to natural and trying lots of products). However, when I tried it a day or so later it flaked up. Not sure how to handle that. Did you have that issue?

Hi there. My hair is a mix of 4a/4b. High porosity. I don't use heat. So, I'm trying to keep up with deep conditioning and protein treatments to see if I can lower my porosity (or at least some of the frizz :-)
