Your local Water Pressure is the key to getting the fire hose nozzle to be better. As a Volunteer Firefighter CVFD-MS 20 plus years of experience, I can atest to this fact. You will never get 500psi from your local water supply. Only on our Fire Trucks you'll ever experience that. Local water supply pressure nationwide is only allowed up to 55psi so that they don't burst.

I've taken leaks that went further than the mighty blaster 😜and as someone said the thumb over/kink test would be good. I always just kink the edge of the hose almost at a 45 degree angle and it works better for me than any nozzle i've used.

Gilmour wins for which one I want - with all its extras plus it has a terrific blast. I love soft-sprinkling the Cardinals that come around in the morning and evening for dog food chips (they love it, too.) Gilmour has this gentle sprinkle. Thank you! ★★★★★

I’ve had great results with this product absolutely love it. Can clean cars windows, and water the plants easily. All the cheap nozzles have broken on me

Excellent review! Seems the old school metal nozzles are the best. I just was looking at an all-metal Gilmour model online, but my local Lowe's carried a similar model in a different brand (around $5-$6). Gotta have a strong jet for washing the car tires and rims.

Thanks, Conservation of energy, . No energy is being added with these nozzles. One is just reducing the size of the exit. I got a new Might Blaster still new in the package for $2 at a thrift store…I prefer a small brass nozzle or dollar store model.
@scorpionleader19677 жыл бұрын
You forgot the thumb over the end of the hose, and the partial hose kink. I prefer the thumb over the end of the hose for distance. Otherwise I would get a pressure washer. The cheapest nozzle will work for most purposes.
@Freakinreviews7 жыл бұрын
You're right! I wish I had done the thumb/kink technique.

When i lived in town i had much better water pressure, but then i moved into the country and now i have well water. The water tastes better now, but the water pressure sucks now....

Received mine yesterday and as already expected this is suitable for larger hose and high flow water main only. It is powerful only if used with a minimum size of a 19mm hose (3/4). I use the 1 hose” with a 32mm MDPE main supply here in UK. The advert is misleading as they forgot to mention that this is not suitable for low flow water supply.

The nozzle doesn't give much on the way of the pressure it comes from the pressure in the pipe usually 60ish psi and the dimeter of the hose vs the hole in the nozzle if you have a 1/2 hose with a 1/8 hole in nozzle will be the same with any. Nozzle go to a 2 inch fire hose and a 1/8 hole lot more pressure

I bought one of these as clearance stock at Dollarama (a Canadian dollar store company) for $4 Canadian, it broke with in a few seconds , that aluminum hex screw in the middle of the nozzle treads into some things brittle plastic

This seems to be a product designed more for ergonomics, and not for pressure. It seems like it would be great for people who can't or don't want to squeeze the nozzle the whole time they are using the hose..

Great review! Very detailed! You should compare it versus the Brass Bullet. Also, I just watched the infomercial for the Mighty Blaster and I noticed it had an on/off nozzle on the bottom. Is this an updated product? Could it be missing a physical part or a oporational step?
@Freakinreviews7 жыл бұрын
Great catch! That on/off knob has definitely been removed since the original version.

hose diameter plays a big part in how the nozzles will shoot water. the metal hose has the smallest since it is a rubber hose covered with metal. still the MB is trash.
