Griffon is actually better than Skyscale for cache keepers. Definitely not critical to have skyscale on drizzlewood

I find Griffon to be better in many more scenarios, but I feel like majority of people just got used to Skyscale so much that they don't even think about it.

@@epto In the vast majority of scenarios the griffon doesn't come close to skyscale. The only instances griffon shines is in high altitude

@@epto i agree. I love my griffon. Fly up with skyscale -> dive. Also, skyscale dash -> swap to griffon midair -> refresh endurance -> swap to skyscale and dash -. Repeat. Ive been barely using my skyscale and got so good at flying wirh griffon skyscale not fun anymore

For harvesting sickle, if you farm your home instance for ascended ingredients, the Glyph of Bounty can actually be better as a long-term investment, especially if you buy them when they're in the BLC (as the price tends to drop significantly)

but then you lose the karma conversion, buying bounty sickles with karma is significantly the best karma to gold ratio in the game

@@aidanfenton4377 Yeah, I forgot to add that my comment would apply if you're already using an unbreakable sickle (and can't be bothered to keep changing). Besides, one can also save the karma to buy Obsidian Stones in Orr, needed for legendary crafting.

16:08 what happened with your Account value here. You had 2503 gold then the next moment after the video cut you have 2378 gold but in your inventory, the gold amount hasn't changed, it remained 255 gold as before the cut..

Change in price of the items in your account, the value is directly from GW2Efficiency (gw2efficiency.com/) which updates through the official in game API. The account value is not your wallet gold but the (near) total value of the items you own.

Did you sold something or the prices fluctuate so much in so short time. You must know since you have made a short cut in the video exactly when that happened.

I'm considering buying the tool pack before it leaves the store. Unfortunately I am pretty new to the game and there's no way I could farm that much gold. So I'm debating whether $35 is worth dropping on the tool pack. It would be nice to has "BIS" tools I don't have to worry about.

I suggest if you're still relatively new, to wait for a sale in the upcoming months. No reason to buy tools early, unless that is something you wish do to, and that is up to you.

Unbreakable tools are luxury items that shouldn't be prioritized over other gem store QoL purchases as a new player. There are so many better things you can get with $35 like the Copper-fed Salvage-O-matic, shared inventory slots, material storage expansion, bank tab expansion, living world seasons, permanent lounge pass... Tools are very expensive and rank very low when it comes to cost/benefit. Almost every other account-wide purchase in the gem store would be better as a new player.

@@notor1ousguhmz Thanks. I was leaning towards those items. Especially the salvage kits. I would really like the Mistlock Sanctuary permanent pass as well or the one with the fishing spots. But neither seem to have a permanent version available currently. I suppose that will just give me time to progress my account and farm some gold. Thanks for the help. Which of the Living World episodes or IBS episodes would be worth purchasing first?

@@Ljrobison Mistlock and Armistice Bastion passkeys were recently on sale in my region. It will be a while til they go on sale again. For living worlds (IBS is living world with a diff name for some reason -__-) I suggest getting all of Season 4 as the skyscale and roller beetle mounts are locked behind it. Same with IBS, get all of it (cheaper to buy in bundle than individual episodes), but if you really don't want the whole season I would just get the first 3 episodes of IBS as they contain very good farming metas. My ranking is LWS4 > IBS > LWS3 (episode 3 has winterberry farm for ascended trinkets) > LWS2 (dated content but has a lot of core tyria mastery points)

Wish Guild Wars 2 returned to no support/healers philosophy Guild Wars 2 where orinaly marketed as a no trinety style mmo and now it have slowly have became one. Think most boons and healing should be personal only. Have lost all intrest in grp play because of this. Now all i do is some wvw solo roaming or very very few times i go to pve a little bit solo open world.
