Randy Hanson was the first and is the greatest Jimi Hendrix tribute artist. This is the best Jimi Hendrix tribute concert I’ve ever seen. Experience Hendrix tours should take note. This blows them away. I hate to use the term “tribute”. These guys are channeling Hendrix!

Had the privilege of hanging out with Randy shortly after this and he was wearing a nice velvet purple shirt that Uli gave him. He had one of Uli’s wha pedals too. Of course Randy was super nice guy.

Randy was very special. He took his love for Jimmy seriously and it showed back in the 80’s. Hung out / partied with Randy and the ‘Jimmy Hendrix Experience’ one weekend in early 80s at a show my best friends were appearing at up at fairgrounds in the California foothills ( spacing on name of town ) Angles camp, Sonora, San Andreas ? Great time and super nice dude 🍻 cheers
