Thank you again. Can you make about a video about how to troubleshoot an AD account, which frequently gets locked out?
@navneetluhar29325 жыл бұрын
You can use EventCombMT tool to check account lockout. It generates a report that tells on which PC the account is getting locked out.

Sorry, I didn't get your question. You have two domains in different forest? Generally in production environment company uses WAN link (ISDN line or lease line) to connect two different physical location.
@MSFTWebCast5 жыл бұрын
Even you can use VPN to connect as well...

Hi. I have a windows server standard 2016, I already carry out all the migration but I have problems with the policies when it replicates to 2019 datacenter. Can you helpme please? Best regards
@MSFTWebCast3 жыл бұрын
Are you referring to group policy? You also need to migrate from FRS to DFSR. I missed that part while creating those guides.
@joseluiscastrobenitez44643 жыл бұрын
@@MSFTWebCast if it's group policy, I'll research how migrate from FRS to DFSR. Thank you very much for your help. Kind regards from Mexico.

This did not work for me, transferred the fsmo's over and the server stops letting any user login to it, the machine Administrator account, any of the domain administrators all locked out from logging in to it... Redoing this i run `netdom query fsmo` on the new 2019 i just get the RPC Server is unavailable (i only transferred infrastructure manager to test this time)

Before transferring role, did you check the replication status?
@arikatlanarendra9525 жыл бұрын
But you have migrated directly 2003 to 2019 previously

If you did not migrate from FSR to DFSR the article is here: techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/storage-at-microsoft/streamlined-migration-of-frs-to-dfsr-sysvol/ba-p/425405#hyper
