I've watched this podcast 3 times and have learned more each time. These are the types of conversations that offer authentic value for those of us who want to care for the Earth and our communities.

Excellent interview. I had to wade thru numerous videos of the coopted versions of agroecology from the international organizations before I found the real deal. Thanks.

Great interview, i love the analogy of christalising change, one “huerto” at a time. Colombia is very lucky to have Miguel Altieri. What’s happening in universities goes against everything that science should be engaging in, all for new markets, growth, profit, costing the earth and our place in it. Thank you, thank you

I am very excited to be taking agroecology this fall! I already started reading the text by Gliessman, Mendez, Izzo, and Engles and I'm pumped to get into this one.

I am doing my PhD on Dynamics of agroecology in the urban parks which is completely following agroecological farming principles in dayalbagh Agra, India. And it is surprising how a deserted land converted to green forest and very resilient ecosystem within 10 years. And surprisingly increased biodiversity. We introduced approx 250 plant species and now it is home to more than 2000 species same goes with faunal diversity, It is very productive and constructive but the sad part is seed company like syngenta and chemical company like yara is not going to support these vibrant approach towards environment. But i am hopeful for earth.
