My Grandma introduced me to the Statler’s in the late 70’s going to church in the car listening to the Old and New Testament songs of the Bible on 8-track. Sure do miss her and those days. Thanks for posting. Merry Christmas!

This video was part of the Statler Bros. 1985 T.V. Christmas special. I am grateful to who ever uploaded it as is one of my all time favorites. I also recorded the program had a VHS recording that the quality has deteriorated and has tracking lines.I used to play it for my kids every Christmas while they were growing up. I count myself blessed to have seen the Statler Bros.in concert a couple of weeks before this show aired.It was also my first Christmas with my Bride of 35yrs.

What Christmas is to me...is love's labors found... still while yet above the ground...and that diamond of the crown that makes all to gather round to honor all...that is the call of the new born king Who like a ring of light shines on all who with ears open wide hears the call for love's light to shine upon us all...to falter not to hop on board to gather not of the sword but to gather one and all and all for One...and the praising of that light always on board.. praising but the Lord and a birth that shines in the Light reminds us that to be of the light we must forever shine our light as the light that will never fade or seek the shade of worldly goods and then the unbinding of the light though to satan's delight...and that my friends is an endless fight with no birth in sight..so choose to be of the light...and the Lord's birth as the light from within the stable....the stable of light
