Everytime I hear that intro I get goosebumps! :] also Mika and the Witch’s Mountain is SO CUTE! I’m getting it on Tuesday and it really does feel a combination of Windwaker, Link’s Awakening (Switch!) and of Course, Kiki’s Delivery Service. Also I’m SO HAPPY she can actually walk and not be flying 24/7.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I like the occasional "unwind" game. Typically it's a farming Sim but a delivery service sounds nice too. However I refuse point blank to buy a game till it's fully released so I'll be waiting.

Wasn't expecting this in my feed at all as a Chibig Universe enthusiast who wrote a guide on Summer in Mara but knew this game was a while off and niche. I think I'm still looking forward to their platformer based on Summer in Mara more, but like the look of this significantly more now that the use of flight seems to have some spark. It remains to be seen if the dialog and quests will work out since Summer in Mara had some glitches and localisation issues (native language was Catalan IIRC) but the heart can shine through with their games.

If you love RPGs and enjoy map-flyable airships, I have been saying for most of my life now that you can find no better choice than Skies of Arcadia. You _start the game_ with an airship, and the whole of map navigation is based around the current capabilities of your airship. There are also airship battles. Many RPGs have airships you can fly around the map, but if you're looking for high-tier airship implementation, I'd argue Skies of Arcadia is nearly impossible to beat in that category.

Similar vibes to the good Web-swinging mechanics in Spider-Man games. You can theoretically swing to and at any height, it all depends on how you do it.

I looked forward to this game for YEARS. Literally years ago I saw the ad for the Kickstarter on Instagram. I didnt back it because Id recently had a few Kickstarter let downs. But I did buy it on Switch the minute it came out. I was honestly a little let down. The flying controls are extremely aggravating. Theyre not intuitive and the game itself didnt meet my expectations. I only paid $16 so Im not all that upset, but it just didnt hold that charm that the ads made me think it would. Its still a cute game but its hard to maneuver and its not quite what I thought it would be. Im sure the controls are probably better on PC. I wonder if its coming to PS5? I know that it was a crowdfunded game so Im sure that if they had the funds that a huge studio did then the game would be even better. Its not a bad game, and its probably due to the fact thah I had my expectations set so high. Its a cute game and it's priced fairly. I hope they continue to add to it or they see enough success with this that they can make another game and have the funding to make it everything that they want to.
