Even as a Bucks fan, I can't really fault Mike Brown for doing this. The league can't keep fining coaches for lashing out at inconsistent officiating if they're not making any effort to stop said inconsistencies.

I mean there's being upset and there's doing what Brown did. I agree refs need to be better but it would also help if coaches and players were better too. the verticality rule only applies to certain players. if giannis is driving for example, it doesn't matter where your arms are. when he goes into them its a foul.
@slamdunk227011 ай бұрын
That's what Coach Brown can't say (otherwise he'll get fined) but he implies that Lillard get the star treatment there because is shooting a jump shot three (a highlight play), while Fox is just fighting through a screen (a simple play). Some of the coaches would argue "my player is a star too, respect his name", but I disagree. I feel like there shouldn't be different refereeing treatment based on your player status. Everyone should be refereed the same. Maybe the NBA thinks it helps the game to have stars shining through highlights for casuals' attention on social networks worldwide. But I believe the true fan prefers to the see the game be equally challenging for everyone.
@dragonrings1411 ай бұрын
@@slamdunk2270 Lillard almost never gets foul calls. I do agree there is a star bias for the foul calls but it is often only ever one per team that gets it. Giannis gets the calls. Sabonis also gets them. For Lillard almost all of them were ignored. He easily deserved twice as many free throws this game.

The officials are corrupt and unreliable. They all gamble with beards. Engaging in gambling can result in losses, addiction, and financial obligations. Sports betting has been legalized in all states, with limited regulations in place. No way to monitor and stop collusion and point fixing. When you had criminals and illegal sports gambling, you had law enforcement task forces, snitches, ect. Sports gambling is now conveniently accessible on mobile devices, with state-contracted companies ensuring fair play. The task cannot be completed because it would impact the company's profits negatively.

Yeah, the reffing across the entire league this year has been the worst I’ve seen since I started really, really, watching the NBA; it feels like there’s less consistency, which Mike Brown touched on, and worse eyes from the refs, I’ve noticed several missed OUT OF BOUNDS calls, which to me is bonkers, I’ve had to watch games where one team is getting consistently head swiped and getting no calls whereas the opposing team will get a whistle if you breath too hard on them, in the same game, I hope this quality of reffing is fixed and addressed soon, the product is suffering for it.

JUST TAKE A LOOK AT HIS HANDS... He seems like he's wrestling with wild cats... It's a disrespect when someone wonders "why the Bucks(Giannis) do win more FTs" ... The answer is obvious, because he's dominant and unstoppable! Mike's Brown point is based on plain intolerance and "artificial ignorance", the rest are just excuses.
