I had on of these mk1 GTI, my rev counter didnt work, I just got a whole instrument panel from a scrapyard for £30 and swapped it out in 20 minutes.

Replaced the oil temp and oil pressure gauge which would of been useful with two useless gauges a clock and an amp meter.
