Any tips for playing the intro double bass beat? I can do a run of 8 bars at 206 with just the feet if I warm up, but if I add the hands, it falls apart. Love this drum cam 🔥

Great playing! How come you mostly swivel with your right foot?

@@TheSlayerswe thanks! That's just what my body did naturally so I ran with it. That's basically how I developed all my techniques except for heel toe

Awesome drumming but I'll never understand the dual bass drums and using a double pedal? Is it just to look cool?

@@az4x4taco420 I was just filling in for a week and a half and offered to only use 1 kick, but the drum tech didn't want to break his routine so we just went with the 2 as to not mess with the setup too much. Also yeah it just looks cooler, and you have an emergency backup in case you break the head of the main one. You'd be surprised how many bands do this

It's also easier to mic 1 bass drum instead of 2.
