Fucking wonderful job man glad to see you still doing the damn thing! Doubt you remember me but happy to see you killing it still!

Triplet blasts are hard enough as is, and the speed this song is at just hurts worse. You made it look easy brother🙌

That album is filled with bangers and it seems like it so underrated. You killed it as usual.

@@DongDrums Elliott recorded Doom too! After Genesis he went to school to pursue a film career. He’s been a video director for various pop artists! He recently posted on his Instagram a video of him playing drums on a museum!

Great performance! I really like the old songs from Job For a Cowboy. The newer, more technical albums are great too, but I wouldn’t mind if they just released a full album of straightforward blasting again.

Are those called bomb blasts if I'm correct? Tough as hell man, great cover!
@MikeCaputo12 күн бұрын
The main blasts in the song with the kick on the downbeat and the snare on the upbeat are traditional blast beats (example 0:08). Bomb blasts are the short ones with the snare on the downbeat and the double time double bass underneath it (example 1:26). The short one immediately before the bomb blast where the kick and snare are in unison is a hammer blast

Hey Mike, what's the latency for your kit through that laptop? I find that even sub 3ms latency can start to feel sluggish at higher speeds. Curious if you have any tips about minimizing latency.
@MikeCaputo13 күн бұрын
I don't know exactly how much latency I have. All I know is I have my kit as the ASIO in my DAW and I slid the slider all the way down in the ASIO configuration so I have the least amount of latency

great drum sound. I know it is a Roland vdrum, but what model is it ?
@MikeCaputo14 күн бұрын
It's a Roland TD-27KV with some extra/upgraded pads. I'm using the Austin Archey VST from MixWave for the sound you're hearing, not the internal module samples

Awesome shit! Suneater never gets enough love. Danny walker kills it on that album. I play the song a global shift because drums kicks in hard instantly to non english speaking mexicans at work and say job for a cowboy is a mexican band. They are like si? Lol 😂 everybody always says i cant understand that shit. But us metalheads do.
