In this episode we spend a day at Restaurant Gabriel Kreuther on 42nd street. A lot of the places we've featured lately are downtown, or Brooklyn and casual. Here we go to mid-town and visit a very ambitious fine dining restaurant where the attention to detail is everything.
We spend the entire day with Chef Gabriel Kreuther, his Pastry Chef, Marc Aumont, and the rest of the team to see what makes this place so special.

I appreciate how the master chef doesn’t take himself too seriously. He’s the perfect balance of respectfulness and passion, he appreciates the loyalty of his staff and he allows them to express themselves as well. This is the best restaurant I've been to in NYC and possibly the world (I'm thinking it beats Alinea in Chicago) and definitely, the locals of 11 Madison Park, Danielle, Perse', Le Bernardin, etc Chefs are on point. Food is exciting and delicious. Can't wait to go back.

kugelhopf is an Original bread from Alsace, France but Chef Gabriel do it savory, whit scallions. Delicious!
