to be fair its not that simple. He has repeatedly praised Skip not only for putting himself but countless other black people on in his industry. On top of giving Shannon the first giant step in his media career. Skip was given his own network show. The executives wanted to pair him with another journalist/analyst/pundit. Skip INSISTED on Shannon (at this point an ex player had NEVER been a host on a debate platform and the network didnt want to take the risk). The executives pushed back and Skip threatened to reject the show if they didnt give him Shannon. There's a reason why Prime thanked Skip on live TV for everything hes done for our community within the industry. Hate on Skips obnoxious whack ass takes all you want but there are few people who have done more for others within the sports media space and Unc acknowledges this. Both Unc and Stephen A credit skip for their careers and now theyre big time players.
