Back in the 80's, nobody did or cared about shooting threes ! It was dunks , finger roles , lay-ups , perimeter shots, and the occasional three. The three point shot is prevalent today ! It was not prevelant in the 80's ! This makes Stephen A Smiths story so unbelievable ! Also , a real coach would want you to perform a different multitude of shots and passes to evaluate your skills ! I mean, come on ! Let's be real !!!! Also, he is acting out like a liar would when they get caught lying. Screaming , yelling , cursing, and deflecting instead of showing proof and addressing the situation.

3000 books isn’t a reach. When you’re broke, need to entertain your kids, and in his case video games or iPads ain’t exist, you got a free library card and you stayed there all day. Especially say if your house or apartment didn’t have AC, water shut off, you find ways your kids don’t ever get the impression until later that yall were broke phi broke. 2 years I took my sons to the library every Saturday and Sunday when they were 5&3 because I just didn’t have disposable income while paying off debt. Played organized bball and then played when I was in the military too. I don't have any recordings of me playing, but my family came to watch me play. So by your logic, that invalidates my experience right? Your logic is bad and you shouldn't put your personal experience as a fact for someone else. Now to answer the second part of your question, how would he have video of him playing if he got injured before he could actually play a game? He stated that in his book and on video that he didn't get to play in college, only that he got the scholarship to. No former players or coaches of that school has come out saying that he's not telling the truth, so what makes you so sure about it? You're projecting homie....

You mean the same Max Kellerman who went to Winston Salem State with Stephen A. Smith as a part of First Take's HBCU Week, four years ago? Guess who else was there when they honored Smith by awarding an annual scholarship in his name? Former teammates, and coaches who were on the team with him. Y'all acting like the man said he averaged 30 points a game. He got kicked off his high school team for bad grades, played at junior college program in NYC for a year, and a family friend who previously played at Winston Salem State for Coach Gaines got him a tryout, and literally drove him down there. If any of these people knew anything about the legacy of HBCUs, and how lots of black players only ever got the opportunity to even get in college and play sports we might have more respect in our community. There are books on the history and legacy of HBCU football and basketball programs, but I know it's a waste of time suggesting people read them before mocking anybody's story.

You have some goofy logic. 1. this is not the only thing that Whitlock has called SAS. He's been going at SAS for YEARS, without a response. 2. he didn't get mad at Whitlock for calling him a "plant" , the straw that broke the camel's back was Whitlock's questioning of SAS background and credentials. And most importantly.... 3 just because SAS finally had enough and finally defended himself against Whitlock's chirping doesn't mean that Whitlock said something true. Sometimes people get tired of someone yapping and spreading lies about them. If someone insinuated that you are gay, (like Whitlock has in the past of SAS) or spreads lies that you hurt children, you probably will respond. Doesn't mean there's any truth to the accusations.
