I hope the family is doing better. The loss of a child is difficult under any circumstance. There was one light moment. Mike's looking at the bad foundation and says I just want to kick someone's a**. Then in walks Dan the plumber.😅 Dude you better run. Mike's in a bad mood.

Agreed. However, some of the earliest episodes were filmed 4:3 standard definition. Not much they can do for those. But all the widescreen ones should look this good if they put in the effort.

cedar will rot if the bark is still on lt. in time it turns into a sponge. once its like a sponge and you remove the bark the cedar will dry up and feel like paper. it would be to soft to use as a structure.

Have any credible studies been done showing it works for finding water? Not aware of any. For a high voltage power line, might feel something due to capacitive coupling. A big maybe and would still be skeptical.

Mike Holmes definitely loses some credibility for that. Makes one wonder if he's as smart as he appears. Agree with your sentiments. Vendor walking around with rods doesn't inspire confidence. Basically, just guessing.
