MIKE is one of my favorite young artists out today, and the musical movement that he's involved in is incredible. Growing up in New Jersey, I've always been partial to New York rap and the scenes that started there, and Slums is no exception.

Beware the monkeys is amazing and came out in 2022. Might be my favorite by him although it’s hard to top disco in 2021. 2023 has been amazing for Mike too Faith is a Rock with wiki and the alchemist is such a great. And his solo album Burning Desire, while I think it is a little long with some bloat, it’s an amazing showcase of his talents.

Another amazing dovumentary! Keep up the good work man. Just wanted to add the fact that Sixpress(now Ade Hakim) greatly influenced Mike's production style. The way I see it he's the one who came up with that sound (productionwise).

Update: MIKE went on to drop more amazing albums namely "Beware the Monkey" which was critically acclaimed and is considered his magnus opus by many, "Faith Is A Rock" a beautiful collaborative project between him, Wiki and The Alchemist and one of my favorite hip-hop albums of all time; MIKE would drop "Burning Desire" the same year, a project that takes his production, experimentation and artistry to new heights and would kick off 2024 with another collab album between him and producer Tony Seltzer. MIKE will appear on my debut album, "How It Started, How Its Going"
