Kellen Moore was essentially benched in Philly after the 3rd game this season bc his Norv Turner scheme from 1996 wasn’t working. Siriani muted Kellen to just passing coordinator and raised the run game and Stoutland to more prominence. Siriani intervened with the game plan bc Kellen is still “gameplan stupid”. He refused the Boise State job because he didn’t want the responsibility of a HC. At Boise State, Kellen was babied by Chris Peterson mainly because Kellen was a weak QB.

The coaching decision by the Dallas Cowboys as to who will be the head coach will probably not make that much of difference one way or the other as the problems with the Cowboys run a lot deeper than just players and coaches. The bottom line is that the fish stinks from the head starting with Jerry and Steven Jones. Regardless of who they hire to be the next Dallas Cowboys head coach it will still be the same old status quo of mediocrity as the Cowboys will be a team that can never play strong and finish up games in the playoffs that is they even make it to the playoffs in the next two or three years.

Assuming Kellen Moore, and more importantly Ben Johnson, are off the table because of Jerry's refusal to pay for "on the job training".....I feel like the only option Jerry has is if somehow the Rooney's give into fan pressure and let Tomlin go. Yes, like the last 10 years of Tomlin's career has been pretty rough. Is he now 0-6 in the playoffs since his Superbowl run? But the dude is a legit coach. Damn near like 20 years on the job and NEVER a losing season? And with some of those teams, 8-8 was a goddamn miracle. Like one year weren't the Steelers like 0-6 and he managed out an 8-8 season from that mess. And I would be pretty interested to see what Tomlin could do with this defense. He could be the key to having Parsons break through his ceiling.

His defensive line has never had defensive tackles with any size or ability to stop the run, so, if Dallas doesn’t have the lead, then will more than likely gonna lose the games. They will win 10 games next year because they will be playing a last place, weaker schedule, and lose in the first round of the playoffs. We’ve seen it since Jimmy left.
