when mike said that he doesn’t regret how he used to be but he’s glad he isn’t like that anymore, that really resonated with me. i used to be really angry and non-immediate family members have recently been criticizing me for how i used to be. but my goal now is really to be there for my younger self, because at the time i didn’t feel like anyone was. i don’t regret how i was, but i’m glad for the growth that has turned me into the person i am today, and i will not stop advocating for my younger self

you have done the best you could in that situation , people holding it against u after you have changed your ways , is unfair . they don't take the change to meet the new you in how you have changed over the years . everyone that has been there knows their selves that it was not totally correct to react a certain way , that's why we make changes to be better , if people hold that against you , it's counter productive . hopefully people in your life will see its a change for better. keep in there ! your younger self is valid too!

Adults often have strange and unreasonable expectations of young people without any concept of having grace with them. A behaviour in a young person is a form of communication. Your younger self was communicating with them and they didn’t like the message… that’s why I think they can’t let it go. I'm not sure if this is ok to ask, since I'm not a system, but do some alters find it uncomfortable or offensive in some way to be referred to as a fragment, since it goes along with being less "fully formed" or maybe less complex sometimes? And is it difficult for alters to realize that some of the major or minor changes to their personality and outlook on life may be due to integration or fusion? Much love to the entire system, and thank you for being willing to introduce yourself Mike. You seem like a really solid guy.

I don't usually leave comments but I just had to express how happy this video made me feel. I've been keeping up with your channel/system for the past 3 or 4 years; it's clear you've been through a lot in that time, and I really respect how you've balanced transparency and maintaining privacy/boundaries throughout all of that. I've learned so much about DID (as someone who doesn't have it but is generally interested in psychology/trauma) but beyond that, you all have taught me just how resilient people can be and how little we truly understand about our own brains. I don't think I'll ever stop being surprised by the complexity and diversity of the human experience. Anyway, that was a long-winded way to say: Mike, it's great to officially meet you. You seem like a stand-up guy, and I really admire how you talk about emotional growth. I'm glad you exist.

We have a part so much like Mike, in terms of where he started and where he is now. He was listening to this video and was just beaming like “yeah yeah! That’s the good shit right there!” He was super destructive, both to the body and to our external relationships. But he started connecting more with our host and with external people and realizing that he has a lot more worth than just being in pain, and he went from being the type to be tricky, manipulative, and angry in a negative way, to being tricky in a funny way. He’s also labeled as a bit of a clown. He still holds so much pain but now he knows he deserves to feel better and feel happy despite it. So happy Mike has also reached this point! Our guy went from a shunned persecutor to a beloved co-host thanks to our therapist and inner folks trying to actually understand and care about him rather than shunning him. We wish Mike & Co the best in healing!🥰 -Many but One

If Mango were to decide to lick the salt lamp (which my cat did when I had a salt lamp) it can cause salt toxicity and even death depending on the amount ingested. Keeping it out of her reach could be good. Or if your bathroom is off limits to her, it could go in there. I love your videos and I have my notifications on for when they come out. Hi Kya, or whomever might be reading this. You don't have to write back, but you'll definitely make my day if you do. I just wanted to say how amazing you are and how insightful your content is. I haven't been here long but I've been watching your videos for a few days now and you've helped me open my eyes to what DID is truly all about. I recently joined a mental health group where I met a couple of systems and, while they were positive interactions, I was ultimately terrified of talking to them. Not because I find them scary like how movies and TV portrays them, but because I knew next to nothing about the disorder and didn't want to say or do something wrong and offend or hurt them in any way. (Part of my own healing process involves extreme social anxiety and my need of others' approval of me.) They could tell how nervous I was (I'm not great at hiding my anxiety) and recommended I look up your channel on KZbin because it was broken down fairly well what all the terms are and what other things are important to know about persons with DID. They were absolutely right with their recommendation. I'm obviously not an expert, but I'm glad you've shared what you have so that uneducated people like me can get past that boundary. Now, while I still have my own issues to work through, I can at least be confident in knowing how to handle myself while talking to a system. Thank you all so much for what you do with this project. Lots of love from Wisconsin here in the US.

Also the awareness that you spread about DID/OSDD & C/PTSD (as well as other mental health related things) is soooo important! Not only does it make people (including myself) feel less alone and like we’re being heard. But your encouragement (especially with reminding people that sometimes our “best” isn’t 100% and that’s okay.) Be that doing chores at home and taking all day to get 1 thing done or struggling to shower or brush teeth, or making important life decisions etc- that it’s okay. We’re all doing our best out here. it wasn’t until I found your channel years ago (when you were first starting out) that I gave myself any recognition for pushing through pain. Pushing through panic attacks and depression episodes and realized that even a lot of my grounding techniques have come from you guys. - whether you guys stay online long term or whatever you end up moving on from this platform please know- you have made such a difference in so many people’s lives and you have made a HUGE impact in my life and me starting my healing journey. Knowing that it’s okay to start over or slip into a dark place, because there’s ALWAYS a light at the end of the tunnel, no matter how long the tunnel may seem. I’ll be forever grateful for the impact that your system has made in my life. ❤ wishing you all the absolute best and all the happiness and success in the way that it’s important to you. -All my love 🤍

That's actually really beautiful: Mike picking up and taking on the fractured alters that aren't quite whole so that they can become a part of something bigger and start to influence the system more.

What a lovely thing for all of you to have. An outlet for expression that is informative and fruitful even financially somewhat. What a blessed system. I have been watching your videos for years and I am wildly interested in learning about this disorder in order to not judge, as well as assist my family with DID. Along the way I've made some friends!

Man i love Mike even more now. Learning about his growth was very lovely and really special. I totally could relate as im sure many can relate to using humour and videogames as a defence/escape. He feels like the friend everyone should have someone who sees the darkness and is strong enough to laugh at it and make others laugh. Mate its been a pleasure formally meeting you(love your tiktoks) and keep being your humorous self.😅

I kind of relate to Mike a bit in this video. I like to communicate with people in a similar way: though teasing humor but direct enough to get something done, yet it's not mean (I hope) or complete banter. It gives off a strong, truthful, reliable, and warm energy I really want to adapt for myself.

I discovered this channel a few years ago while in high school. These videos are what single-handedly began my fascination with psychology, and ultimately led me to pursue it as a career. I graduated yesterday with a bachelor’s degree of science in nursing. I will be working as a psychiatric nurse with the intentions of becoming a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner in the near future. I just wanted to say how thankful I am for this channel in guiding me to where I am today. Thank you for your vulnerability in sharing your experiences with the world. You are making an incredible impact on those who watch ❤️

I am so proud of you. I've been here for years, almost since the channel started,, and I know just how much you've been through from then to now. You have grown so much and I've only seen a small snippet of your life through youtube/streams. Thank you for sharing your experience with DID with us. I appreciate you spreading this awareness and I want you to know how fucking awesome you all are.

Kyle was my favorite alter in the DissociaDID system (though everyone is so wonderful!!!) and I see him so much through Kya and Mike and it’s so nice that you all have this great comforting energy that I always got from him in old videos!!! I love you all, and I’m so happy I got to meet Mike a little bit in this video!!!

Kyle is still here?? Nin and Kyle fused together into a new alter called Kya, I really loved nin but I thought she was gone with Kyle because they fused together??

Coming from someone without DID, the way you guys talk about dealing with trauma and the healing process feels kind of familiar. Like there are pieces of myself that feel so subconscious and unclear, but then as time goes on and I feel safer and start to heal more it’s like something “clicks into place” and I feel more like a whole person. I know it’s not the fusion you experience, but something about it seems so similar to that. I guess I’m just trying to say your videos resonate with those of us without DID too. Thank you for putting them out there!

As an actor, this channel is one of my favorite things and is so fascinating and cool and helpful to me. I know that you are not acting, but watching your videos is actually really helpful from an acting point of view because since your alters are so vastly different, it helps me to see details about changes in posture, voice pitch and habits, etc that most actors dont think about when it comes to playing a character different from yourself. Because you actually are and have these alters, it's super helpful for me to watch so I can think about details to make my portrayals of characters more genuine and authentic. I am NOT saying you are acting or pretending at ALL. I'm saying studying the differences between your alters has helped me to notice my own speech habits and posture, which helps me create more authentically different characters. Not sure if that makes sense. But I love your channel and I'm so grateful to get to learn more about DID!

i hope this isnt rude, but i can identify myself with mikes past quite well. I'm still going through healing, its a though journey, and i'm not courageous enough to tell the people around me. But looking back i can see, much like you mike, that i've done a lot of growing these past few years, while i'm still heavily self destructive & sabotaging my own way of healing, i've come on dome terms eith myself and what I have to do. It felt good to hear somebody has struggled with similar issues & has come through okay. Thank you for this video🫶 and never stop growing, i hope you all have a lovely day

my teenage years were mostly spent being the exact person that Mike used to be. it’s so validating knowing that I wasn’t alone in that. and it’s inspiring to see that no matter the bullshit you put yourself through, you can always grow past it. so thank you Mike ❤
