Mike follows through with his threat to get Chuck a professional haircut by enlisting The Irish Hammer’s “hairstylist to the stars” to bring his salon to our studio for a cut and record. What could possibly go wrong? Not entirely unrelated is an announcement about additional trades being eligible for the mikeroweWORKS Foundation’s 2024 Work Ethic Scholarship Program. The application process begins February 28.

Watching these podcasts is sooo much more satisfying than just listening. Love it! 👍🏻 Now, if you could get over the “we can’t go over an hour long” nonsense, that would be awesome. Sometimes, these conversations need to come to their natural conclusion. They’re just that good.

This has been one of my favorite podcasts. Chuck getting is hair dues was great. The stories so funny, and Dennis with his amazing travel stories, wow. I was very glad to hear the wise council Dennis gave to tgose considering becoming g a hair dresser. He's an excellent role model. The expansion to add in cosmetology, that was a surprise move, but wow, it makes a lot of sense especially after hearing Dennis and what it took for him to get to where he is. Btw, that Farrah Faucet hair was awesome too. 😅 Boy that took me back.

Over the last few months i've listened to all of your podcasts and somehow I held out on watching any of them until i heard Chuck was getting a hair cut. No clue why but I had to watch this one and actually see what Chuck and the Irish Hammer look like. One looked how I imagined, and the other not even close. Ill leave it at that. Love the show!

Hey Mikey! I really liked this episode. The profound metamorphosis of Chucky at the talented hands of Denis. All without "Splitting Hairs".. Mary's hair is quite striking, enough said. Mikey, all of this ensemble had such great chemistry and rapport. Everything flowing like a long "Mane" of hair. Mikey, thank you for all that you, Chucky, Mary, and your team do. Glad you filmed this but to be honest was thinking Chuck would benefit for an inch or so more hair cutting to happen, and was hoping to see Mary with a hair trim too after Chuck's turn with Denis Chetzan's scissors. Oh well, he talks a good game. I paid $60 last week for mine and was happy with 2" gone and some layering. Good show.

Are these the mics you have been using all along for the podcast? I do not notice it on the podcast on Apple Podcast. but on here I can hear pops in Mike's voice. Also every time someone hits the table the mic I picking that noise up as well. Might need to look at a way to isolate the mics from the table so that noise is not picked up.

1. I would love to see all your "That the Way I Heard It" podcast videos posted on KZbin and/or X. Your audience can pick up so much more info through the medium of video and perhaps it is helpful to have your content on multiple platforms. 2. I liked the episode, but for some time I have been hoping you would do a deeper dive interview into these two critical, good relationships (Chuck & Mary) in your life that have passed multiple decades... these are important relationships... From the outside looking in, I would assume Mary and Chuck are critical to your success. You have the pain and experience of losing significant wealth in one relationship and you have these two friends and business partners who have been good (despite your constant pokes... at Chuck at least... you don't poke Mary... interesting...) Anyway, I believe it still would be beneficial to explore these two relationships in a deep dive, long-format interview exploring why and what they bring to your organization, a discussion of how friends and business partners can exist for the common good, bringing a more eternal value than just the transaction itself. Warm wishes... [a loyal follower, and Knobel consumer (a 7th generation Nashville, Tennessean myself) for 5+ years after hearing you speak at a Procore conference... caught off guard by your wisdom, breadth, and depth led me to this place ]

American finances are so different to European. I live in a rich European country where 35k is the median salary and 70k is enough to live carefree if you choose to not go for the big house and car. 100k feels like a lot of money and far more than a salary for someone working in a trade. Then again, we have healthcare and welfare and paid vacation, etc.

I live in America, southwest of the country. Your numbers used to be ours, now 100k won't get one as much if one doesn't come from a stance of wealth. I mean, I live in a 2b 2br, to sell its around 800k. That's fantasyland numbers, but ain't my house to sell.
