I used to do that to go to Panera by artisan breads so called artisan breads. Bread is so easy to make it home even if you don’t have a mixer if you use quick rise yeast you can even have it sooner plus you can refrigerate and even freeze your dough if you freeze your dough shaved in the size you want and I throw in a little extra yeast. Literally I have fresh bread all the time and it takes very little effort same with pizza dough

A job at McDonalds is a stepping stone to better jobs. It teaches you to show up on time and how to accomplish tasks set forth by your boss. It wasn't meant as a means to support a family and to make an actual living! If everyone is making good money doing menial labor, then there is no incentive to better yourself! Not to mention minimum wage has been shown in every instance to hurt minorities the most, and it raises prices so that you just have to keep increasing the minimum so it can cover costs!

Even my local coffee shop has one. BECAUSE PEOPLE LIKE THEM, it means their order goes in 100% correct. We already know that Fast Food can pay more in wages and only increase costs slightly. Plenty of examples around the world where fast food employees get insurance, vacation, maternity and are treated like humans. The issue is the shareholders want 15% return on investment instead of 5%.

You are the prime example of a low to no skill employee. Can't even do math or figure out because of this 20 dollar per hour minimum wage the cost of living just went up more. 20 dollars and hour is 41,600 dollars per year. What California and all other states should require is if you can't make a go of it on what you are earning you need to go out and get a second job and even a third job if need be. This would solve a couple of problems. The shortage of workers that we keep getting told about and maybe people would learn to appreciate what they have. I know I worked 3 jobs when I was first starting out at 17. One full time job and two part time jobs.

Ok….then why in Denmark does McDonalds pay this type of wage and the burger costs maybe five cents more? When companies pay a wage that people can live off, it means they won’t use welfare and social programs. Meaning they don’t need as much money, so it lowers the deficit, and the you can pass along the savings in the form of tax cuts.

Thus when burgers are $15 in Lodi then no one will buy them and they close down Who ever passed this law should be fired, was it even a item we voted on? The clause unless you bake bread was a sure sign of a corrupted deal. UPDATE ** The real bill passed was to regulate fast foods for a better work condition.
