It highlights the potential for suffering and persecution that believers may encounter for their faith, while also offering a message of hope and assurance in God’s ultimate protection. This verse serves as a reminder for Christians to remain steadfast in their faith, even in the face of opposition, and to trust in God’s faithfulness through all circumstances. It encourages believers to persevere in their commitment to Jesus, knowing that their ultimate security lies in their relationship with God.

What a wonderful interview - and what a privilege that you would ask us to pray for your friend Derrick. I am pausing the interview now, to pray.

Band of Brothers is a great series. My husband (retired Army) and I watch it every Memorial Day and Veterans Day.

I always remember what G. Gordon Liddy said about playing the bad guy in Miami Vice. He said anyone can play the good guy, it takes real talent to play the bad guy.

My absolute favorite role that Neal McDonough played is that of Buck Compton in HBO's Band of Brothers. This is followed very closely by Malcolm Beck (Beck Brothers) on Yellowstone.

So I've always enjoyed Mr. McDonough's work but my respect for him as a man just went through the roof! This episode is so inspirational. Well done gentlemen! 👍

I'm ten minutes in and I'm already tearing up like a six-year old. Inspiring! Three MEN getting together and having a conversation about life. I'm not sports guy, but I instinctively get what they're saying and feeling. Neal is a scary-good actor and Mike is a super-scary-good host.

I'm from Cape Cod myself and what Neal said about sports or stupid stuff on the Cape is absolutely true, I've known a lot of both, lol.

Watching this was like watching twins who were separated at birth hanging out for the first time. Two men with different but similar backgrounds. Same heart, same morals, same faith, same mindset. Incredible!
Been a fan for a long time since he was in Band of Brothers. Then as Damien Dark but what really made me stand for him is that he sticks to his morals. He puts his morals above the almighty dollar! And as a combat Veteran thank you Neal for doing the troops right by not half-assing that character. Some of us tend to feel forgotten.

Mike and Neal, I found this incredibly captivating and thought-provoking, to the extent that it's hard to believe I watched the entire episode without any interruptions. A heartfelt thank you for providing such an extraordinary experience. Although I've expressed this sentiment before (you might not have seen my previous comments), Mike, your articulate and down-to-earth perspectives, coupled with your no-nonsense logical approach, make listening to you a genuine pleasure. This episode revealed a personal side of Neal that was truly surprising, and I appreciate the opportunity to learn more about him. To individuals like Neal, Mike, Jim Caviezel, Mel Gibson, Denzel, Morgan, Alan Ritchson, Keanu, and others I may have unintentionally omitted, you all are exactly what we need. Blessings to each one of you, and a heartfelt thank you.

Neal McDonough is one of my all time favorite actors!!! He's just a class act. The way he loves and respects his wife when it comes to some roles he will not take, the way he talks about his family, his friends...Definitely a class act all the way around!❤ ~ APRIL LIPKE

Band of Brothers and Black Hawk Down in 2001 and then 9/11 I’m 16. We were Soldiers in 2002 as I turn 17 and able to join the Army. I join in 02 to medical retirement from being injured 17 years later. I know he was depicting the leadership of Buck Compton that we can all read about but it was powerful seeing it and knowing the pre production boot camp and the way he preformed on screen I’ll never forget it as I crossed the burm in Iraq (at 18) to a helicopter incident that ended my career. The point is I appreciate those who take it serious to portray American heroes and I must have watched Band Of Brothers twice a year on the same dvd set for 23 years now. Even as a soldier, a dad, a man, and an American. 🇺🇸
